Hi all - have any of you encountered this problem? I've been good so far but yesterday two bookers (one of them an agency) both said that they couldn't let me book from an application like burner, textfree, etc. I don't know about you guys but this is the whole reason I use these apps. not sure how they are figuring it out anyways but it is cramping my style!

anybody have similar experience / insight?

Sorry too many psychos, fake bookers, blacklisted guys, and other escorts fake book with text apps. We know how to look up the number and see if it's real. It's too easy to create a new text app in 30 seconds and harass someone, so just get a burner phone, or get a reference before asking to use a text app. 90% of the people who contat me with a text app are not desireable clients for me, most of my clients use a real cell number and I just ask for them to text me on arrival and I don't text them out of the blue.

Otherwise you'll have to move on to those who do accept text apps or get some references lined up to show you're a real decent client.
I hear where you are coming from. Looks like I'll be building up my references then! Having a burner around is just too much risk of SO discovery.

Funny thing was the only reason I encountered this problem was because I got cancelled on. In my mad scramble to find alternative entertainment, I hit this roadblock twice! So it goes both ways.

guess we need blockchain for escorts. :)

You are very right that it goes both ways.

For us, we need to try and prevent it by using screening methods, and I think the same can be said for clients. Use review boards, google searches on pics, Twitter, etc and it helps you find the good ones over the bad ones.

Giving back to the community helps as well. So reviewing your encounters good and bad with escorts will further help someone else in their "screening" for a quality escort.

this is a growing two way issue

many SP's are now using apps and posting that number for a week or two until they get a bad review. Boom, number change and no way for the guys to search for a review

the app thing suks

I just feel like app numbers are the ones who never show up. It’s happened so so many times. App numbers could be ANYONE texting me. Family member. Sibling. Never know. If a member uses an app
Number and tells me which board they’re from and emails me. I usually have no issue! Or even if the app number sends a deposit. Many times an app has sent a deposit for our session and it’s been fine!!

I'm really curious about this, and FWIW I use a texting app because the phone activity shows up on the monthly bill. I'm kind of a techie and could easily explain an old phone hanging around if it even gets noticed, hell there's one of my old phones sitting on my bench right in front of me that has been there for months. I prefer the text app for convenience and I just like to keep things separated for organization. I understand the reasoning the ladies have for denying texting apps but I don't understand how it can be effective.

I've never setup a burner phone but I have looked into it. As far as I've read I can go to whatever pay-as-you-go provider and pay cash for a sim card and put it in a burner phone and I'm golden my name isn't tied to anything. I've heard the argument from the ladies that they prefer a real phone/text # so if things go bad the guy can be traced, but this seems to be not the case if cash was used to setup the burner.

Kadie and Charlotte mentions not knowing who it might be or a new number could be generated easily for harassment purposes. If there's nothing tying you to that phone number how is a text generated number any more secure then some random number given by the provider. It could still be anyone. Also my provider gives me the option to easily change my cell number, I don't know if the pay-as-you-go providers offer this but I would assume they do. So I can't see how that prevents the harassment issue.

I'm not trying to pick a fight. I'm all for the ladies doing whatever they need to feel secure and comfortable regardless if it's compatible with how I need or prefer to operate. I understand why text app numbers are sometimes not accepted but I don't understand why burner phone numbers seem to be perfectly fine.
