Which it was not deemed a terrorist attack when it should have been. Maybe Muslims would not be targeted negatively so much if we as a society stopped giving them the monopoly on terrorism.
The Incel movement was the reason and I have said it before.... any mass killing or attempted mass killing in the name of "______" should be deemed a terrorist attack. The blank can be anything. In the name of purple loving assholes around the world.

WARMINGTON: Too quick to remove Danforth memorial
First you take down the markers of what happened, and soon after comes the forgetting of the victims’ names.
It’s like there’s this giant hurry to scrub history.
Very fresh, bloody history.
First it happened on Yonge Street where the two memorials were removed a month after the ten innocent people were run down April 23rd by a driver operating a van.
Try to name the ten victims. Name one.
Now it was the Danforth’s turn to erase the street level reminder of the horror’s of July 22.
“Danforth memorial to be decommissioned today,” says a City of Toronto news release.
What it should have said is all of the stuff people brought to help the city heal was mostly taken to the dump.
There’s lots of other debris strewn around town that gets to stay though.
What’s the rush?
Is it an eyesore to see the reaction of a community to see two young people heinously murdered and 13 others wounded? Is it serving as a constant reminder that what happened July 22 is still very much an open question?
Many want to know more about Faisal Hussain’s background and connections and would like to see authorities look the country straight in the eye and tell them with 100% certainty that this was not a terror incident, but merely the deeds of a mentally ill person in need of help.
Whatever it is, Mayor John Tory, Councillor Mary Fragedakis and Councillor Paula Fletcher were at the Logan Green Field Parkette “for the closure of the memorial to those who have been affected by the tragic incident.”
They are ready to move on.
This is not closed until we find out the whole story of what was behind this terror-like attack before it’s edited out of from plain view.
Three people died here (including shooter Hussain, who killed himself) in the disturbing rampage.
The truth of this is a walk across the Danforth earlier this week discovered all three makeshift memorials had already been removed. The biggest one, the fountain area in the Alexander the Great Parkette at the corner of Logan and Danforth Aves., was a surprise to me.
All the flowers, pictures, candles, stuffed animals and notes were gone and people sitting there didn’t seem to even know what was actually there not very long ago.
The original message was the move was just temporary for the Taste of the Danforth.
Don’t worry, said one Greektown regular Wednesday night. Everything has just been relocated around the corner in the tucked-away-from-sight Logan Green Field Parkette.
It actually is an impressive presentation of some of the pictures, paintings and messages that were once on The Danforth itself.
While not accomplishing the in-your-face reality of the loss and the community resilience in the face of evil, it seemed like a pretty good compromise. In this memorial set up, they also have construction boards from a restaurant renovation that have become a blackboard for thousands of grieving Torontonians to write their messages including the iconic Danforth Strong logo.

How long before the whole thing is basically forgotten?
Not everybody is ready to move on from the horrible slayings of Reese Fallon, 18, and Julianna Kozis, 10.
But since the city — which doesn’t move as fast to remove other irritants on the street — moved with haste on this one, perhaps they will move just as fast and rename the parkette in honour of Reese and Julianna.
And make sure their names, faces and deaths are never forgotten.
