I had an interesting encounter last night and I know that there's a chance this woman wasn't even an escort, but I thought I'd throw this out there.
Last night I was visiting someone and stepped outside for a bit. I noticed a woman getting out of a car and entering the building's condo. After a few minutes I noticed her spending 10-15 minutes trying to find someone's building entry code/buzzer and texting on her phone. I didn't think much of it at the time since I've been in situations where I've gone to meet friends and they simply don't hear their phone ring with all the background noise and music.
I was tempted to ask if she was going to meet friends and they weren't answering and buzzing my friend to let her in, since I've been in this situation myself, and quickly realized that I didn't live in the condo and I may make things weird for her and the concierge.
Before going back to the car she did something for me that I found to be thoughtful and sweet. It was small and trivial and I can't word this properly, but it was something that made my night and that I needed at the moment. And the best thing I could come up with, besides a thank you, was "are you okay?" Thinking she'd say, "oh, yeah. I'm an escort and the person isn't answering now that I'm here."
Now I know there are a ton of Ubers around and there are countless possibilities as to what happened. The only reason I think she may have been an escort is because the majority of the time an Uber won't wait around for you until you go inside unless you explicitly ask them. Especially late on a Friday night. Something just made me suspect she was an escort who was stood up and had to deal with a no show.
If there are any independent ladies or agencies who had a woman go to a no show near the Yonge and College area around 11 pm I'd love to book this lady for a dinner or drink date. Again, I know there are countless possibilities and even if she was an escort trying to find her is like trying to search for on specific fish in an ocean. Won't hurt to try though.
