So I bought an IPTV/Kodi box, and I'm hating the thing already.
Very few Kodi addons work. The IPTV works well however, except my cursor keeps freezing and its very difficult to get it to unfreeze.

Any tips or help you filthy freaks can give me is welcomed.

The Android box I bought is a MXQ Pro with 4K capability.
I paid $45 for 3 months worth of IPTV service

Google top ten Kodi add-ons. Sites will appear telling you how to get them.

I recommend Neptune Rising right now for HD movies and tv shows .

Also if it's an Android box look up Mobdro using the built in browser. Lots of free tv stations there.

It has been glitchy for a few months. An more recently ACE has been trying to shut down the add-ons. Pyramid used to be one of the best and easiest to use.
You can try just using the browser and watchfree.at it is really good and no popups.

How often does your Kodi buffer, and how often does your Firestick freeze up??
Never had the stick freeze and buffering depends on my connection. I have a stick at home and one at my little get-a-way by the water. Internet there is a satulite service and a bit slower then your norm and even then, the buffering is not a high issue. There are settings you can change on Kodi to help with that issue if you have it but I have been a Kodi user since is was call xbmc and buffering hasn't been a issue for a couple years now.

I'm a complete moron when it comes to technology, if you dont mind maybe I can PM you sometime for some basic Kodi questions.
Or better yet I can bank transfer you some money for the hour, and you can explain everything to me on the phone.

How's that??

Good advice....but they seem to change every month so you have to stay on top of it.

Depends on what add-on you use on KODI. Look for incursion add-on as it's pretty good, barely buffers even in weak wifi. One thing I know, never go for cheap boxes. this thing gets old quicker than pc but cheaper. Some old ones will no longer run new forks and add ons.

Learn how to download Kodi and install add-one on your own and buy a box that allows you to do that. If not you are wasting money because you will have to pay for upgraded boxes instead of just updating yourself.

PS - Kodi will run on PC, Mac, even some tablets. It is not limited to boxes that sold preloaded.

There are 5 parts to a good iptv/kodi/android box experience

1. The hardware (actual box) you get what you pay for
2. Internet connection at home
3. Software you're running
4. Server speed (iptv provider, movie host etc)
5. Setup (buffering etc)

Now you can have the top of the line box, best software, amazing iptv provider but when you have shit internet connection the whole thing goes to shit. Same story goes for any of the above being out of whack

i have the dreamlink 1 & mag254 on the iptv ser top box & for kodi its the firestick... also 35mbps will get you nowhere.. to be more sure you got to have 300 mbps to 1gbps.. i have the 300mbps with rogers paying $105.. cut my cable off for awhile now...

kodi & iptv then youll be fine without rogers or bell cable..

I've had a box for 4 months. Not too many problems. But the picture quality isn't great. It varies by channel, but consistently not good, dark and poor resolution. Is it my box (T95z plus) a setting, or the software? I NEVER use Kody. I haven't found a set of source channels that have any content I'm interested.
T95 is the type of chipset its a recent one.
