Very strange. People who knew him claimed he couldn't swim, yet he jumped into the water on his own?? I know he was troubled, somewhat combustible and unstable person but generally speaking semi=competent adults who know they can't swim don't jump into a lake or even engage in activities at the very edge of water.

It was a great 35 years... think he really wasn't happy anymore. Hapiness is all relative. He burned a lot of bridges and underachieved as an NHLer. Though he won a cup, he showed flashes of brilliance yet never sustained playing at a high level as an NHL goalie.

Funny you say this, I didn't know he couldn't swim, but there was something in my stomach telling me something is off here.
