Which Final was More Anticlimactic?

Was hoping for a Federer/Nadal final with a Federer win. But I could be the only ticket in a draw and still lose.

An upset here or there is fine but too many early upsets robs us of classic finals.

I wouldn't say that's a rule. You win some, you lose some. This one didn't pan out but one could have made that assumption a few years ago going into Wawrinka-Djokovic & Wawrinka-Nadal but those surprise finals had plenty of drama and quality.

Besides, considering how good the Semis were (and 3 of the 4 quarters) you can't really argue that tennis fans didn't ultimately come out ahead on in the deal for week 2.

Who would rather see France go up 4-1 early in the 2nd half instead of Germany/Brazil?

Meh, I don't think anybody needed to see even 5 minutes more of that Germany team than than they already did (except maybe Mexico and Korea whom Germany made to look way better than they actually were).

The final was all too predictable but I was happy to see Nadal and Djokovich back at Wimbledon. Only Murray missing but soon to return.
