Whenever two teams from the same domestic league end up in the final of the UCL, it's always underwhelming and anti-climatic. They already play against each other in regular fixtures and it's impossible to ignore the domestic results.

The fun and great part about the UCL is to see two teams that have seldom or never played each other before.
I agree it was better to see teams from different countries even the Europa league is going to be Arsenal and Chelsea.
Euro Under 17 Final Today: Italy vs Holland.
Could this be the start of a revival? The Italians had an unblemished record going into the final with a multi ethnic squadra, beating both Portugal and France along the way. Holland beat Spain to reach the final. It will be the second year in a row that the two nations have met, Holland won last year's final on penalties.
UEFA has served notice that Italy will not be allowed to host the 2028 Euro if it doesn't get its stadium issues under control....Fillipo, she's sweet.

Very few of these kids will go on to be superstars, unfortunately.

Arsenal v Chelsea this coming Wednesday. Wonder which pubs will be televising it? Then on Saturday it will be Liverpool v Tottenham in the Champions League Final.

Neymar has been accused of rape, it probably wont go anywhere since he's well protected. Not sure if Barcelona set him up. Considering the hefty price they paid and the transfer ban, it's possible. Neymar moving to PSG is a bigger act of betrayal than what CR7 did. Maybe it's PSG's way of saying, "your ours so shut your big yap about leaving and play".
Jose Mourinho wont be returning to Inter, Antonio Conte got the job instead. Conte's reputation has been somewhat tarnished, he's the first coach to leave the Azzurri with the project unfinished. Ventura was an old fart but he didn't have enough time to assess his talent going into WC qualifications.
The U-20 Azzurrini have gone back to basics, they are in the quarterfinals playing strong defense. However they don't have Moise Kean in the line up, he's been called up to the Senior Blue too many times to qualify. Next season he'll be a starter for Juve, The Grizzled Warrior Mandzukic is leaving.

Allegri is leaving Juve, he'll have plenty of offers in Europe. His fate was sealed when his loan out of Moise Kean to Ajax was foiled. Giorgio and CR7 went over his head to Pavel Nedved who nixed the transfer. Too bad, with Kean in their lineup, Ajax would have won the Champions League.

So they would rather take Higuain for Mandzukic ? I think they're both burned out. but I'll never forget this goal of Mario...........
Higuain has egg on his face, he was loaned out to Milan then to Chelsea but neither club chose to buy. It looks like Mandzukic will be with Dortmund next season. He played his heart out in the World Cup and it showed this past season, hope he can regain his form in Germany.
