Because he's only 19, and they know if he keeps progressing like he is now, he'll be the world's best defender in 4 years or so
Nicolo Zaniolo (7.7.1999), Matthijs de Ligt (2.8.1999). Roma sold Naingollan and Strootman to give their young midfielders a chance to start. I hope they can keep Zaniolo, Pellegrini and Cristante.

He should go to Juve, Barca sucks ass. Next week: Juve vs Atletico, City vs Bayern.

Atalanta 1 Ac Milan 3.

Very intense and unexpected match, Bergamo is usually the graveyard of Milano clubs. Another very smart move by Elliot Management bringing in Leonardo and Paolo Maldini to run the club. They will make it into the CL next year and be a migraine headache to any club going against them. Piatek looks like Lewandowski's successor.

Elliot Management - they no Ontario Teacher's Pension Fund.

Juve got clobbered by Atletico the other day...they just don't have great attack coordination...Ronaldo and Dybala can't do it ..where is Curado? but kudos to atletico they kept going and going non stop I knew they were going to score. But it would be nice if another team rather than the spaniards win this year. Ajax was also very good against Bayern.

Allegri hasn't managed the clash of egos very well and Simeone exploited it.

He's been having trouble with Dybala for over a year now and CR7 made matters worse. The Portugal and the Argie had an argument in the dressing room after the match with Chiellini having to get between them. CR7 favors Bernardeschi, but he hasn't been in top form lately. Cuadrado is injured and not expected back till after St Paddy's Day.

As for Roma , Manolas is out with injury. They are going to be ever more dependent on their young Italian midfield while DDR probably takes the Greeks defender place...looks like I wont be needing DAZN this year.

Real Madrid is now a shaddow of itself. And the idiot coach left Marcello on the bench.

Ajax played well, though.

What a wonderful game Real-Ajax. Ajax played well the last game and played wonderful today. They looked like old time brazilians passing the ball around and pirouetting, I really like them. They kept stealing the ball from Real. Modricj carvalho worked really hard, keep in mind Ramos was out, marcello was out. To win 4-1 against Real is a big thing...Wednesday PSG United

I'm still fuming, Roma ate so many chances to put the match away and ate them. Porto was playing for penalties. Which is why Dzeko is with the club instead of still being at City.

In the end the ref decided the match, giving Porto a penalty on a shirt tug while ignoring the ankle sweep on Schick the other way.

Wonderful to see Real Madrid’s dynasty come to an end! Could Juve finally reach the pinnacle with the aid of CR7? As for Man Utd’s win over PSG……………shades of ‘Fergie time’ :encouragement:

Is Solskjaer the right man to lead Utd to former glory? Time will tell, this resurgence could go south at any time!

Eusebio Di Francesco has been fired, what happened to Roma is not his fault. Pussy ass move. How can you compete when you sell your best players?

At least they can start building their new stadium. The real mystery is who will buy Ac Milan in the summer? Leonardo and Paolo Maldini have made some shrewd moves - again at Roma's expense. Romagnoli should be wearing the Giallorossi, it was as bad a transfer as Thiago Silva sold to PSG. Milan was not a factor after that.

I didn't see the Roma Porto game I saw PSG United. Holy shit the first minute Luckau scores on a error by PSG then .......PSG scores.......... then united scores on a error of Buffon and a penalty. What a weird game, PSG dominated but united won on mistakes....( the commentary is german but you can see the goals)

Zailbetter, I'm a Homer Simpson, Serie A clubs are my Spider Pig.

Teenager Moise Kean put on a spectacular show against Udinese. Imho it's a mistake to leave him out of the CL. Again his "Italianess" has been questioned. He was born in the heart of prosecco country, he's Piedmontese through and through.

The Portuguese Lothario ranted about Luka Modric being the best player in the world.

He is an old man Dane, he's also considered the best goalie of all time. PSG have had trouble selling their brand, they've had a bump since Buff joined them. In spite what happened against The Red Bastards, they may want to keep him as a coach.

Here's another juicy rumour. Too sweeten the pot on the de Ligt transfer, Juve are prepared to loan out Kean to Ajax. Fuuuuck, if that happens, Ajax are going to be even more powerful.

Juve have to come up big against Atleti at home. Allegri got thoroughly outcoached at the Metropolitano, if Juve get eliminated this is what's going to happen.

True, he was the best, but why does he not know when to stop.

He must be well off after his long career, and I suspect he would make a great coach.
