Israel settlers take over Palestinian home in occupied Hebron

June 5, 2018 at 11:09 am

A number of Israeli settlers yesterday seized a Palestinian house in the occupied West Bank city of Hebron, local media reported.

The spokesman of the Youth Against Settlements (YAS) movement, Mohammed Azghir, told Safa that the settlers took over a Palestinian house in the neighbourhood of Qaitun.

“The house is currently occupied by the settlers and is being guarded by the occupation’s military forces,” Azghir added.

He explained that the area has been besieged by the Israeli forces since 2001, noting that Palestinians have not been allowed to access it.

In 2016, the UN Security Council overwhelmingly approved Resolution 2334 which considered Israeli settlements in the 1967 occupied territories, including East Jerusalem, as “illegal”.

Fourteen States voted in favour, while the United States abstained without using its power of veto.

Great! They should, we have their back.

All newcomers should pledge allegiance to our allies including Israel to obtain citizenship. It should be part of the interview process.

You don't like it get the fuck out!

Thanks, but I'm a Canadian citizen and my allegiance is to Canada, not the apartheid state of Israel.
Personally, I think we should interview more Canadians and see if they really support equal rights or not and the rule of democracy, not whether they swear allegiance to some foreign state.

I don't want to splinter this thread but would this be a good time to discuss the Bolsheviks?

Yes, they should look at those who are supporting ethnic cleansing here....
Like your Hamas heroes who want a Jew free region?

After my vacation I'm not going to go back and look but did you ever explain why you quote organizations yet ignore when they describe Hamas actions as terrorism?

And it is another instance of your hypocrisy. You claim descendants of Arabs who fled Israel have an absolute right to 'return' to the place their ancestors lived while at the same time demanding Jews not be allowed to 'return' to places they were ethnically cleansed from in the 30's and 40's.

And no, I don't think settlements are helpful but some idiots taking over an empty house is a lot less of an issue that Hamas launching rockets and arson attacks.

Ethnic cleansing of terrorists is a good thing.
I know how much bullshit comes from the OP and fraudfooter but ethnic cleansing does nto apply to terrorists. You are just buying into the bullshit belief that all Palestinians are terrorists (like when franky describes all settlers as terrorists)..

I told you I support the findings of all the major NGO's and would support investigations and charges based on those findings.
Where we left it was waiting for you to do the same.

So you admit that Hamas is still engaged in terrorism then? That's a big change because even up to last week you were still claiming they had stopped terrorism years ago.

I haven't seen that accusation from human rights organizations, but if you find some, feel free to post them here.
But before we get to that discussion we'd need to confirm that you trust all the findings of these NGO's, that you're not going to just pick and choose one sentence from one report and claim that everything else they report is a lie.
Fair?

So go ahead, start by listing the NGO's whose reports you support as all legit and accurate.

What a surprise; you still deny Hamas is using terrorism. Hamas admits to firing unguided missiles and arson attacks this past month. The organizations you quote call those actions terrorism but you refuse to accept their statements except when they are criticizing Israel.

Do you accept the findings of Amnesty, HRW, B'teselem?
Or are you posting accusations from organizations that you think are lying?

Meanwhile the ethnic cleansing continues.

More Israelis calling Israel apartheid and asking for international actions.

You clearly don't because you refuse to admit Hamas firing unguided missiles and arson attacks are terrorism.

p.s. I notice that you also don;'t want to talk about your hypocrisy in demanding a Palestinian "right of return" while claiming Jews don't have a right to 'return' to places like Hebron they were ethnically cleansed from in the 30's and 40's.
