Whom do you PM to ask questions about threads that vanish? There was a bad review about an agency escort, written by a member who had no previous posts. I wanted to see some drama unfold and contribute to it, but as usual, the thread was completely gone when I came back.

Gotta get in fast and get out. Kinda like an assembly line style provider. LOL.

Anyway - can't really see any mod bothering to explain to you why they denied you the chance to enjoy some drama. So don't think you will get very far with this. However GL in your attempts.

So basically this forum also allows deleting bad reviews even if true. It does not match what "Fred Zed" wrote some time ago but good to know. I should give my business to agencies that let bad reviews stay.

That doesn't sound at aqll wise. I suggest you give your business to agencies that receive good reviews and make whatever beneficial use you can of the bad reviews you see, whether they disappear soon after, or not.

It took me many wasted years to learn: Drama is an entirely personal taste; you can't expect anyone to cater to yours.

All agencies receive good and bad reviews. Some of them try to make it right, some cannot even be bothered to reply, and some apparently just get them deleted. It is not the first time I am seeing a bad review about this specific agency get deleted, so now I think it is best to avoid them and not contribute to their deceptive business.

TERB, like the New York Times, MSNBC, etc. is a commercial enterprise. While it services a greater good, it does so only *after* servicing it's owners/shareholders. The first responsibility of any business is to provide for the continuation of the business through profit.

My recollection is that Fred was always clear about that.

They are not owners or shareholders. They are advertisers who would not be here if the user base did not exist in the first place. I guess there is not much to do when the whole industry thrives on misleading (old) men who just accept it.

Personally, I think every short drive-by good or bad review should be deleted. There is not enough info to be valuable to anyone and these kinds of posts are more likely to be shills or trolls. IMO, every person reading for reviews should avoid these kinds of posts.

Also, use the posters history to see what kind of posts they do. Anyone who only posts white knighty good posts or only negative whiney posts isn't someone to trust either even if their reviews have good depth. They both are too extreme to one side too give an unbiased reviews. A white knight kind of guy will give an average sessions a 9 or 10/10, while a set in stone whiner would give a 2 or 3/10.

This forum has to make money and they can do what they want. But one thing that almost never happens is those drive-by one liner shilly posts getting deleted. Drive-by troll posts get deleted fast, but those.... "OMG, she's the best ever. Go see her. 10/10" that are short and have no detail almost never get deleted.

PAID advertisers, who keep the lights on here, so you can argue chicken or egg all you want, but you're not going to change anything.

Exactly. Make good use of the bad review you saw, don't second-guess what vanishes. Deleted reviews are … deleted. And there could be many reasons beyond just a bad review — like revealing a provider's personal details f'rinstance.

I was disappointed to see an ISO thread deleted because a couple people, myself included, said the SP in question should be avoided on principle.

However, she is an advertiser so that's probably why.

Remember, it’s been said before that the customers/clients here aren’t the reviewers, they’re the advertisers. It’s a lot like Facebook in that way. Would a TERB-style board work where it was 100% membership supported? Personally, I’d expect that some users would be unwilling to pay a monthly or annual fee for access.

I’ve read reviews, good and bad that I question the authenticity and/or fairness of what’s being said. We probably all have. You expected ‘drama’ as a result of what you saw in the OP, particularly when considering the reviewer’s low post-count. I don’t see it as an entirely bad thing that there’s a delete-first, ask questions later policy.

Large parts of this community be dumb, crazy and vindictive.

I believe members do in fact have to pay on some review boards. I suppose it should provide more unbiased reviews but I dunno. I would not pay to join a review board.

How many times have you posted about this harmless person?
You come across as very vindictive.

"Harmless"?

Let's just ignore their constant sycophantic ass-kissing praise of an individual who hates sex workers because they're too spineless to say anything. An individual who, by the way, apparently still sends rape threats to a couple SPs.

Oh, and the way they egged on a certain nuisance just so they could get attention. Nothing like throwing other escorts under the bus just so you can get a little attention.

It does give me hope to see that their attention-seeking threads/lame attempts at getting free advertising are being largely ignored on this board.
