We got a fraction of what US is getting and our social support system is overwhelmed. Does anyone really believe that the voters will just sit on their hands and support sanctuary policies? Canadians maybe nice people, but not that nice.
I wish I could find the “What has Canada done for the world” thread, only because I link to a poll I ran after the freeway was shut down asking of those people were “real” Canadians, the results were not favorable.
Despite what the rep is, we have a strict immigration policy. And yes that includes the refugee system. I was fearful Trudeau was going to backtrack the reforms Chretien made. Fortunately He was only interested in a photo op and the numbers are back to normal.
