More nonsense ... the guy has enough flaws to pick on, no need to invent more.He couldn't pay his contracts and creditors for Trump Tower Toronto. Governor Chris Christie bailed out Trump on his Atlantic City money pit and we all know about the fate of Chase Manhattan Bank. The article is a bit misleading. The Trump Organization was indeed involved with managing the building from 2012 to 2017 which included building maintenance and engineering, cleaning, operation of rental facilities, etc. Many of the tenants complained about service issues and many subcontractors were not paid and put leans against the building. Once it was realized the Trump brand wasn't increasing the value of the building as an investment, it no longer made sense to overpay for Trump Management Services.Exactly how could he have done that if he never had a hand in building it? In addition Trump and Talon were involved with some "creative income estimates". The courts dismissed suits on both sides, but the damage was done and allot of investors lost a lot of money. The Trump brand was tarnished yet again.

The PGOTUS has never shown any real understanding of what trade deficits and surpluses really are. In fact he has repeatedly shown that he does not understand. He has said that he thinks that a deficit is somehow a problem with between countries and that somehow the US owed China money etc. He does not understand that a trade deficit is simply the aggregate of all purchase and sales between consumers and sellers between countries. If the US has a deficit it is because the selling countries and making products which are either cheaper or superior or both. The beneficiary of that is the American consumer whether retail or wholesale. The tariffs he is proposing are essentially a tax on the American consumer. Freer trade benefits both sides and the way to freer trade is negotiation not tariff wars. As usual the GOP who should be the champions of free trade a silent. SAD
