OTTAWA — The wife of Ottawa Senators captain Erik Karlsson has filed an order of protection against the girlfriend of one of Karlsson's teammates, alleging harassment and cyberbullying.
In an application for a peace bond filed May 4 in an Ottawa court, Melinda Karlsson alleges that Monika Caryk posted hundreds of derogatory online messages aimed at her and her husband. Caryk is the longtime partner of Senators forward Mike Hoffman.

"Monika Caryk has uttered numerous statements wishing my unborn child dead," Karlsson said in the sworn statement. The Karlssons' first child, a son named Axel, was stillborn in March.

Must be a lot of cattyness among those privlidged hoes. Karlsons wife must have been the queen bee and caryk didn't like her place in the hierarchy scale. How will Hoffman fit in anywhere else now. The other wives must be able to confirm or debunk it, can't imagine the cliques in those circles.

Whoever made this shit up is a career mistake for me. So much chatter and lets go with the facts now. 1. Karlsson's wife has presented zero proof of anything at all at any time, it is all based on her guess that Caryk said or did this. 2. Hoffmans girlfriend and Hoffman have denied everything and said they know nothing about it. 3. Karlsson's wife cannot get a restraining order because there is no reason it, it s a piece order which means nothing. 4. No one has any proof of anything here it could be a fan gone rogue. 5. The Team itself is disengaged and have known for a while. 6. Everyone has gone nuts accusing Hoffmans wife on the internet for absolutely zero reason, an angry mob.

So what do I think? This is all posturing to get out of town,meet the deadline, be traded at the right time, this is all a business ploy to get payroll money and has been happening for a while. There is no smoking gun with anyone here and there never will be because there are no facts to this case at all.

The complaint was made in March, and has been investigated since then. Cybernalytics probably provide much more facts that are not out there.

There are a lot of other Sens wives, or wives of ex Sens that are totally behind Karlsson's wife so assume there is more behind the scenes then anyone knows about. Turris and Hammond's wife have offered their support to her. I guess time will tell.

To me this is a non story with no meat on the bone at all. Just another internet accusation where someone will take a big hit before hearing the truth.
