Thread: Explicit sex scene in movies

  1. #25
Another old film that broke boundaries was Lena Wertmuller's "Swept Away (by an Unusual Destiny in the Blue Sea of August)" in 1974 (not the crappy Guy Ritchie remake starring Madonna). This was a movie about a rich, spoiled, abusive socialite shipwrecked on a deserted island with a poorly educated, socialist deck hand. On the island, the roles are reversed with the deck hand the master and the socialite totally subservient She begins to adopt to the abuse eventually falling in lust with the deckhand. In one scene, he's fucking her and she stops him and asks him to "sodomize her" (offering her virgin ass to him). In a sign of the times, the deckhand doesn't even know what that means so he gets angry. Pretty controversial film because of the violence and abuse of the woman and the explicit (for the times) sexual themes.

She's still heard of. She's been a main actor in 2 seasons of American Horror Story as of late. Before that she was a main character in Big Love which ran for about 5 seasons.

There is always controversy in explicit sex scenes as to whether actual sex occurred.
Short bus elevated Sook Yin Lee to goddess status in my book, for living up to the potential I hoped for her.
Irreversible. A french movie from 2002 starring Monica Bellucci, has the most stomach churning scenes I ever saw. I hesitate to mention it. The revenge scene is also one of the most satisfying scenes I ever saw. Very cathartic. except he got the wrong guy. however it is exactly what i wanted to do to somebody at the time.

Almost forgot, one of the most explicit sex scenes ever in a mainstream movies. Movie trivia: The main character had a woodie for the entire movie!!

Edit: Just realized that I posted the "Family rated" version. The full scene (which I couldn't find) had rimming, golden showers and even scat play... all with marionettes! LOL!

This Chloe was in Big Love as well.

Julianne Moore looked good in her birthday suit.

To follow up essguy's post, Swept Away is a brilliant semi-political sex comedy that isn't afraid to go dark. Mariangela Melato was amazing in it.

Lina Wertmuller followed up Swept Away with Pasqualino's Settebellezze (Seven Beauties).

The most controversial sex scene of all time: Pasqualino and the Gestapoese.

Chloe is a pretty big star in her own right. She does a lot of Indy stuff that does not get a lot of attention. Take a look at her film/tv list:

She's a really good actress, imo. Started her career in the film "Kids" which is a very realistic but disturbing film about teens (young teens). In that film she starred as a young teen who has just learned that she has HIV. The film is shot with a single camera - almost documentary style. There's a scene near the end where she is passed out drunk after a party and gets raped by another teen who doesn't know she has HIV. So she's been taking risky roles since day 1. Brown Bunny is a horrible movie, IMO. Pretty sure that 99% watch it just to see Chloe give Gallo (who was her boyfriend at the time) a blowjob. Her CIMSW should have been Oscar worthy.

I'm glad she is doing well. I remember that film Kids. tough movie. I seem to remember her being on an episode of Seinfeld. but couldn't find it. Gallo, seems to have been busy too. Just seems he didn't have her best interests at heart and didn't give a fuck, if it tainted her career, which it doesn't seem to have done. Nice bj though. sometimes the end justifies the means.

You are right, she does take on a lot of risky roles. Hit and Miss, the series where she plays a chick with a dick was pretty intense.

Friggin classic scene. Nightmare come true. The scene that leads him to this situation is hysterical as well.He is working as a janitor in a mental ward when he happens upon a female patient tied down spread eagled on a bed, and decides to take advantage of the situation, before he gets caught.

The entire film deserves to be seen as it's a gem...

...the opening scene will get you right out of the gate!
"It had never seemed strange to me to wear sweatshirts for underwear to keep warm. It only seemed odd to be rich...

...we ate well and cheaply and drank well and cheaply and slept well and warm together and loved each other."

~ Ernest Hemingway. "A Moveable Feast"

There's a scene in Park Chan-wook's sublime "The Handmaiden" where you say: 'they're not going to go there'...

    ...and then they do!

Then there was "Last Tango in Paris" with the infamous butter lubed anal rape scene (simulated). In a horrible admission, the director would later reveal that the actress was not informed about the butter or intensity of the scene because Brando and the director wanted her reaction to be real. So the actress was literally assaulted on-screen (although the sex was simulated).

Later in the 80's, another mainstream actor movie that broached anal sex was a French/Italian movie called "The Gift" (or "Le Cadeaux" aka "Bankers Also Have Souls"). This was a comedy about an older banker who is gifted a gorgeous escort as a retirement gift. He doesn't realize that she's an escort and hilarity ensues. The escort was played by Clio Goldsmith - another actress of that era who I thought was hot as fuck. Anyway, I remember that there were a couple scenes where Goldsmith's character and her best friend (another escort) are talking about anal sex pretty explicitly and whether they enjoy it or not with clients. This movie is almost impossible to find nowadays as it wasn't a big hit. Always wondered whether "Pretty woman" was a mash up of this movie and "My Fair Lady".

Oh that reminds me: Deliverance. The "squeal like a pig" scene was pretty explicit for its time.
Clio Goldsmith was married to Camilla's brother, but is now divorced. She is still a knockout as she closes in on 60. I wonder if she is going to the wedding this weekend. Although she is an actress, her family is very much upscale.

I was pissed at her earlier this year....but I can't remember why? She likes to flash people - egads that must be traumatic!

Lust:Caution - especially if you like the slightly rough stuff. It is also a nice choice for a stay-in date, ladies love this film.
