Your'e welcome. Expansions was released in 1974 so you have to be a dinosaur like me to remember the Jazz-Funk era.yomero5, never heard of Lonnie Liston Smith. That was very enjoyable, thanks.
I was introduced to Lonnie Liston Smith because of Guru (RIP). He featured him on his first Jazzmatazz CD.Your'e welcome. Expansions was released in 1974 so you have to be a dinosaur like me to remember the Jazz-Funk era.
All you need to know about Don Shirley is that he was Jamaican and so Yung Dood and those of his ilk would never accept him. lolNot a music video.
I couldn't find much on Don Shirley, his life appeared to be the path of disillusioned ambition. He wanted to become a classical concert pianist but he came along a decade too early and was not accepted. Tony Lip eventually went on to play Carmine Lupertazzi on The Sopranos.
Mahershala Ali and Viggo Mortensen, imho a must see film.
Probably their most well known song. Quintessential eightiesNow this is what I grew up with. Love those 80s
