Just to be clear, she posted a leoslist ad for bad Client warning of a guy who she believed to be a no show on a outcall?

That kind of doesn't make sense. If it was a no show outcall, then it was most likely a prank played on her and the house she showed up at. Making them both victims.

Either way, outing a guys number and address on an advertising site like that for a minor infraction like a no-show is over kill and unprofessional in my opinion. Share on a private BCL or amping your fellow workers privately. Never like this.

Rape - I may have a different opinion about but a no-show - way overkill and honestly just making it worse.

I hope she makes a comment explaining because I agree with what has been said so far if what the OP says is true, and OP if you still Ya e the info, I agree that letting the guy know what happened would be a good idea. I also hope wherever she posted it, it has been removed.

It wasn't just a no show. I drove 45 minutes to get there and I waited around for an hour. This person led me to believe that they were just waiting for their friends to leave by cab. I asked them to simply come outside and wave and he wouldnt. Then he asked me to meet him in a back alley somewhere. There was obviously no one home but I figured I could have been mistaken. He didn't message me until I had told him I left and he knew I was over halfway home. At that point I refused to come without a deposit and he refused to pay me a deposit or compensate me for my time. It was obviously a prank and the address I was given doesnt actually belong to a potential client. For all I know they could have been watching me from one of the houses or planning to rob me. The whole, meeting him on a back road in an unfamiliar place after showing up to a bogus address just screamed prank or they were setting me up to rob me.

I asked him several times just to come outside for not even a minute to wave and acknowledge that someone was awake in the house.

Not cool on your part. First time you got pranked? How many times have I had to modify plans due to a no-show? Asking to meet in a back alley is a huge red flag and you should have bolted after that request.

That is what Bad Date Lists are for. Plenty of free private forums, public ones. Many boards have them as well.

Posting someone's address, especially one you believe was not even the clients so it is some ransoms person's house, is even worse in my opinion.

You want to be able screen, be safe etc yet you out info of a civie. Makes no sense to me.

There is a professional way to handle this and I am sorry but what you did was not professional. Some guys may act like assholes and play games but they are not the professionals here. You are.

I would suggest finding some of your local Bad date lists or maybe pay for advertising here to see the other benefits of TERB and its resources. They will help with things like this in the future, give you a place to help others and allow you the means to remain professional at all times. Should you choose to follow that route.
