Do condoms make you go limp?

I get erections all the time and am healthy as my body is giving me erections whilst sleeping. I asked my doctor and he says all is good.

I have found that although it’s a necessary evil, condoms reduce the feeling and in certain positions like CG where my partner is not moving vertically as much or only gyrating, I can go soft rather easily. I’ve accepted this and it’s my issue since some of these women are absolutely fucking hot and not the issue. I mean, I have some anxiety about whether or not it will happen, but I would guess around 30% of the time it does. Some sessions I don’t even finish and I’m ok with that since everything else is usually amazing.

I am of average size and I’m not sure if that matters. I just noticed that I’m more rock hard without the rubber and once it goes on, some of the blood gets squeezed out and my hardness is like at best, 80% what it should be.

It’s been so long since I’ve had unprotected with a girlfriend but I remembered that it almost never happens bareback. I can’t remember if it has ever happened at all.

I know the first answer may be to stop jacking it and I plan to see how long I can go but although I don’t fully believe in sex addiction, I think of sex constantly and I will wait 9 days before my next session but it’s going to be tough!

Any thoughts?

I must also say that I have a hoodie so the head is more sensitive and that should be a factor because condoms restrict the skin going up and down the shaft, which makes my eyes roll back in normal sex.

I'm usually limp with or without the condom. I'm small and have serious ED.

try a magnum. I use it on regular guys sometimes- not for the ego boost but if I think I can get away with it, it squeezes less and is more comfortable for the guy.

There are a couple of things that might help...

1. A drop of lube should be applied to the inside tip of the condom before it's put on.

2. A condom shouldn't restrict foreskin movement if it's put on properly. Retract the foreskin for application, roll the condom over the retraction to base then slide the foreskin forward while continuing to unroll the condom to base of shaft. There should always be enough play in the condom length to allow free movement of the foreskin.

3. Start masturbating once a day with a condom on. It allows your manly bits to become accustomed to the feel and will help immensely to ensure the play continues.

4. Or et her to use a female condom. These are wondrous little devices but are hard to find and not cheap but worth every penny.

Your challenges are quite common with uncircumcised men and given my stance on infant male genital mutilation, I've spent years figuring out how to ensure the quality of experience for those men lucky enough to be left in tact. A couple of weeks of learning how to apply condoms properly followed with a self pleasure session and you should have it licked ;)

A big AMEN to female condoms. Once your providers tries them she'll want to use one every time.

its definitely all in your head, but try different brands of condoms and see if that helps?

This is not uncommon, so you're not alone. I find when this happens that an oral finish works best.
Lately, I prefer the oral finish. I didn’t used to, and some ladies simply won’t do that.
But for me, (getting old and it’s not as sensitive as it used to be), I can’t always cum in the condom.
I think it’s funny when a lady tries a hand job, that won’t work for me.

Some providers use cheap condoms that are way too tight , for me thats an instant boner killer . I would be careful lubing the inside of the condom since if you put too much you risk the condom slipping off. I have never used a female condom i would be willing to pay extra if i knew of providers that use them.

The last time I saw powerten he told me that they work well and suggested that I get some. I tried Shoppers Drug Mart and Walmart but neither carry them. If any provider knows where you can buy female condoms please advise.
Amazon sells a pack of 3 for $134 so quite pricy but good reviews.

Wow. Thanks. I may try the condom thing but will start with reducing masterbation and it may have to do with cheap condoms as well.

Female condoms are so much better. Hard to find cheap!

I have bought some on eBay from Hong Kong. Tried one and it works great!

I haven't had sex with a condom in so long that I can't remember what it's like. When I used to use them, I never had an issue of going soft because of the condom but one position in particular sometimes affects my firmness. That's reverse CG when my cock is being bent in this position.

As was mentioned, a drop of lube in the tip of the condom will provide a better sensation and may help you from going soft.

Rumour has it that female condoms can be obtained at the "no hassle clinic" for minimal to no cost...or at least some other posters mentioned that in the past. I knew a guy who pm'ed me about using 4 of them on 2 ladies in a duo...both greek providers...and thus he could gallavant about any of their 4 ....openings....with impunity. I would love to give them a go someday, and in particular a duo to cut down on the action pause required for the ceremonial changing of the condom...back to too-tights- in my own case I burst a vein on a too tight which left a 1 cm purple spot on the boy that got me shitscared.... thought at first a disease...went to doc he put me on the 2 week boning DL - no fun for You! I often get "ring around the weiner" and get choked out with a prolonged session with a regular one thus magnums help a ton...
