Kissing - how safe is it?

I'm not new to the hobbying thing, but when I was heavily into it before kissing wasn't done even by the service providers. Now it's common even in the spas. With the providers I always saw it as an intimacy thing, that they would only kiss someone they were actually "with". I respected that, much as I like doing it. Getting back into the scene now though and already having a few (wonderful) tastes, I was wondering about the health aspects. I like to minimize exposure to nasty bugs as much as possible, but is it just being paranoid to be concerned about mouth to mouth fun?

Most sps don’t kiss me for whatever reason. But judging from the comments I see on many message boards, it’s a common service now.

Absolute risk for herpes. Not much risk for much else. Do not brush or floss before or after the apt for a while
Otherwise anythjng else would be at a very very low risk.

Meanwhile. Look at the guy who left the room before. And think of how comfy you are putting. Your mouth on his dick ;).

OMG !!!! FINALLY someone that care about it !!!!
My rule is no fluid exchange... Saliva's a fluid.. In my opinion based on the fact that I did research before starting in that industry) , every exchange of fluid is a risk .. 1/3 person have Herpes .. How many clients do we ( Providers) see in a day !
As my website in clearly mentioning , I am not allowing any fluids exchange ... No bbbj , no bbfs , no daty without dental dam ( I started a thread about that) , no Dfk ..
My life worth more then 180$ ( the rate of a session) ... I would NEVER jeopardize my health for money..

When I was woking at spas , I seen a girl rinsing her mouth with listerine between her sessions , when I asked her why , she told me that it kills std when she's offering bbbj ... SERIOUSLY !!! Think of it guys .. You go see a provider , she just did bbbj and then 10 min later you are kissing her ... BERK !!!

I am glad to see that some people care on this board ..
Sometimes I wonder if it is still some hobbyist that still care about their health...

This is a good topic, since a lot of people aren't well informed on sexual health and risks.

So many times men will go for hardcore dfk, then insist you put a condom on for oral... Which is entirely redundant!

Herpes is the most obvious risk, but you can only catch it from an open wound, such as a cold sore or if they have it in their throat. Close to 90% of people carry the Herpes virus, mainly the cold sore type, so it's not uncommon to catch that.
Chlamydia and Gonorrhea can also be caught through kissing, though it's really not high risk for it. You can catch all three STIs lists above in the throat, which can be transferred by DFK, though again, it's not high risk. You can also catch any of those is someone has them on their genitals and you perform uncovered oral, though to catch it in the throat usually would be because of deep throating, and vice versa you can have it in your throat and transfer it to genitals, but again it's not high risk for any of that to happen.

Honestly catching STIs needs to be more normalized and is not a huge deal, though I understand if you have partners you're not wanting to transfer it to them unwillingly which is why everyone with multiple sexual partners should be getting tested often(as should everyone though). Most people will get the Herpes virus in their lifetime, so just making sure to keep partners informed and not play when any sores are open is good, and most people who have frequent sex with different people will catch chlamydia or gonorrhea, and as long as you're getting tested often so you know when it happens, and don't play until your treatment is done then you're good to go as well.

Play safe folks! ;)

Please don't judge other providers who offer services you don't. We all offer what we're comfortable with, and it's not okay to paint someone as gross or dirty because they choose to do something you aren't comfortable with.

Thank you ❤

I am not judging the person , but the action and the fact that she didn't know that listerine can't protect you against std .. When we explained to her that it wasn't killing stds she was in shock, we had to prove her by showing her a website about std ...I simply don't understand that in 2018 with all the technology , a lot of people are not aware of the risks.. I mean it is all over internet..
As providers we MUST know the risks of our job , we Must aware our clients about it and we Must be aware of the impact of our own decisions. If a provider knows the risks and take the decision to offer services at risk anyways , it is her decision and who am I to judge. She is the owner of her body and of her life and she is free to do what she want , but if she's taking a decision without knowing the consequences well it is very sad because she might be risking her life without even knowing it..

It is a very taboo topic since a lot of girls are afraid to lose clients over advertising openly that she doesn't offer those services. Some girls are also afraid to be blasted with rages comments from other providers that are offering those services if they are openly expressing their opinion about it. Some girls are afraid to turn off client just by talking about it. Yes it is possible that the topic will bring different opinions and yes some will react and yes some will be turned off , but this is our reality .. It is a important topic and we are working everyday in the sex industry so we Must talk about it ...

I do have an opinion about it and I did share it openly .. Now I am sorry if some people feel sensitive about my way to see/say things.. Yes I am guilty of being blunt and no filters sometimes..I am not pointing anybody and I am not here to create a debate. I know that every providers have their own limit and it does not make them gross or dirty , it make them appreciated by the clients that are looking for those services ...

Now I think this forum is to share opinions and to discuss so I am and I am inviting everyone to share theirs ..

AmberRose : I am not mad ( I know that sometimes reading might lead to misinterpretation because it is no intonation ) .. I also know that you are not bitching .. I find your comment very well wrote expressing that you find that my last comment was looking like a judgement and I do understand why you did comment about it .. Thanks for your input I was in fact not very nice with my " Berk" and I apologies for it ..

Happy_time : You are poking her on purpose.. Naughty boy .. She was right , I was indeed in fault with my comment ;) A big girl must admit when she's wrong and I was ... Keep sharing your opinion everywhere I love the fact that you are so active.. Kisses

Honestly it's true that a really shocking amount of people aren't properly educated on sexual health..truthfully I didn't actually learn about this stuff until I got in this industry!

Even with all the technology these days, a lot of it is because our schools don't teach us thoroughly. My Catholic high school taught us nothing about STIs at all!

Better sex education in schools would be super important to help with this, but I also try and take the time to teach some clients I meet as well if it seems they've been misinformed through all the things we hear from fear and such.

Altogether trying to make sure the right info is being spread will hopefully help educate some as well!

True , I've learn a little about it in school but not enough .. They should dedicate more time to this topic in school.. And how to manage money (out of topic but still )..

Only abstinence can keep you 100% safe. Everything else you do in this hobby comes with little to high risk. Mouth to mouth kissing and condom use bares miniscule risk, but still risky nonetheless. Just make sure to get regular testing. Especially if you are a married guy. Sometimes I wonder the amount of married guys here that open themselves up to bunch of stds from bbbj alone, than go and fuck thier wives, putting them at risk too. Though some guys just have all the luck and never catch anything in thier life time. So far I've been lucky, but the thought of it has made me quit this hobby for good or stop receiving bbbjs... But I always succumb to that stuff. I honestly should stop it hahaaha

BBBJ was also a non-issue back in the 90s when I got into it. No kissing, everything covered....like Alison said, no fluid exchanges. First provider I kissed was after years of regular appointments with her. Got out for a long while, then just the odd MA, but now the MAs are locking tongues as soon as you get in the room. I love to kiss, but this thread just reinforces why I was uncomfortable with it.

O

OnTheWayOut

In my experience the SP who provide really good DFK are also the ones that provide a "more" PSE-like service. More than your usual GFE stuff ..... like Violet who practically pins you against the wall and rapes you LOL. Granted, there are some GFE SP who just enjoy DFK and it is part of their YMMV package. In my experience the ones who REALLY seem into it are more towards PSE than GFE.

I can see why whiteman made his comments and agree. There are things folks see in porno that are not always PSE but it tends to make it more mainstream for guys seeing SPs to want to try it. It doesn't make it PSE type service but it is something porn helped to popularize. Some guys also mistake SPs for all being porn stars and think they like all the stuff you see in porn, highly untrue.

It used to be that GFE definition USUALLY included DFK, now it seems to be less true. But we do not need to rehash the GFE description issue again, it means different things to different folks.

Like most things related to the hobby, it all boils down to what individuals feel comfortable with. If an SP has rules that you think will detract from your enjoyment then the easy choice is to see someone who provides said desires. I've seen SP who provide DFK that otherwise did not thrill me, conversely I've seen SP that did not do DFK that were amazingly sensual. I think the key is to be open to new experiences and not paint anyone until you've seen them.

Wow, I think I've wandered off course again, back to the topic. Sorry folks.

I think we can all agree that all different types of kissing, LFK and DFK and everything in between can all be intimate and means something different for everyone :)
Agreed, I love all of it but anything more than LFK (I had to look that up) seems too risky to me.

Ok. I am going to admit my ignorance on this but WTF is the difference between DFK and LFK?

Like how do you lightly French kiss? Your tongue only goes in the mouth but not past the teeth? I mean I get LK. That is just pecks here and there but I don't understand the difference between DFK and LFK.

Maybe because I love French kissing so it is all the same to me, I don't know but I always wondered what is the difference?

I think everyone has a different definition of LFK and DFK. Maybe we should get a few experts on both sides for a summit meeting to properly define the 2. We can even put together an education video

Anyways I always ask if you allow kissing and and dont put acronyms on it. I'm always looking for sensual kissing and have gravitated to thinking that was DFK. Maybe its somewhere in between

In my experience

LFK ends up just being pecks, no fluids exchange (so probably poorly acronymed as LFK rather LK)

DFK means you will actually french kiss. It does involve fluid exchange to some extent, but I wouldn't say it's common to rough porn as it's example. DFK ends up being true and actual light French kissing in my experience.

I see the confusion for sure, but that's how it's worked out for me personally. YMMV as always.
My limited experience says this is true. No such thing as LFK, either its LK or you go all in.

Is it not the same risk ask DFK? Herpes is transmitted by skin to skin contact, so even LK can spread it.
