Yup, that's one of the reasons that this Trump policy is incredibly stupid.
He's borrowing from Duterte, yet the drugs from this case are coming from legit drug companies, mostly from one family.
And its not an immigration issue at all, the drugs are not coming from Mexico, for instance.
But these are Great days with the even better to come for Trump’s friends who own private prisons.

As-if the favourable tax reforms weren’t enough...

We don't know it doesn't work, seems like in the Philippines there is less trafficking. :)

Plus its cheaper than keeping them in jail for life. Just change the laws to accelerate death penalties and you save millions.
Says you. Who says so that we can actually believe?

Will they receive the death penalty?
Not sure, however, Trump is specifically talking about the BIG drug dealers who smuggle in millions and millions of drugs who he believes should get death (Not the joe blow selling weed on the street)

Penalizing the doctors who over-prescribe is a big deal.. Nobody has touched the doctors for over prescribing so I'd say this is a step in the right direction. He's also investing billions into recovery for addicts.

Does this mean the executives at firearms manufacturers should receive the death penalty when their products kill thousands of people?

I haven't heard the term death penalty,... used as a method of penalizing some one,... doesn't make any sense.

Usually a person penalised, is still alive after being penalized.

Look up,... "penalizing",... then look up "the death penalty" for help.

When hockey players get "penalised",... they are still alive 2 minutes later.

Dude:

I did not invent the term but that’s what it’s called.

Deal with it!
