Apparently, it is easy to get this app. and download it onto a target phone (say your wife puts it onto your smartphone). Then she sets up an account, and by logging into that account can monitor all your activity! Am I getting this right? See http://copy9.com/spy-on-text-messages/

Nope. Because I'm password protected and my phone is always with me.

And I don't have a suspicious SO. I take care of all my shit at home so she is happy.

Nah...not if you have and understand the code.

I.e. get a burner phone, and never have your two worlds colliding so whatevs if you are careless and foolish you will slip.

Still the best advice.
+1

Also, delete all incoming and outgoing calls and/or texts on a regular basis, so that if the burner is ever discovered, there is no easy trail on it to follow.

Don't set up an incoming voice mail message, pay cash for the airtime - not by credit or debit card, don't record info under under "Contacts", keep the phone virtually empty and treat it as a mobile payphone.

I still think this is riskier. If she finds your burner phone, how do you explain that?

These apps have been available for sometime. If you are hitting this level of paranoia, I think the relationship is history anyways.

I'm not married but imo if someone's wife installs such things on her husband's phone then it's time to divorce that bitch.

Not all men were smart/tough enough to insist on a pre-nup.

Yeah, and few men realize how "snoopy" many women are, just by nature. Once it's done, it is all over!

Men will snoop. Snoop more then some women I think.

Which is funny because they are okay with their actions of chatting, flirting or fucking other women but once the woman acts the same - look out.

Hypocrisy at its finest I tell Ya.

If you discover your SO installed this app surreptitiously on your phone, I would think that you would have a civil suit for invasion of privacy. As well, her doing that would be a contravention of the Criminal Code privacy sections.

I doubt any judge would allow her to put this type of evidence into any court hearing. So she uses this app at her own legal risk.

I dunno about all that women being snoopy stuff but I know men are for sure, and paranoid too :O
I bought some CoffeeCrisp chocolate the other day. Not that I give a shit, but "she" confronted me with this purchase; she found the receipt in, you guessed it, the garbage.
