Any college basketball fans out there? Always enjoy the excitement and energy this tourney brings. First buzzer beater belongs to 11th seeded Loyola Chicago who drained a 3 pointer to knock off Miami 64-62. Up next for them is Tennessee who waxed Wright State by 26 earlier on.

My final four - Virginia (South Region), Gonzaga (West), Villanova (East) and Michigan State (Midwest). Villanova over Virginia in the final.

My bracket was busted with..Arizona to win the championship. What do I know about basketball? LOL
The Pac-12 is awful this year. Should have known that on Wednesday before the tournament. LOL

and finally, a #1 seed goes down to a #16. UVa gets blown out by UMBC.
Blown out is right. Wow didn't see that coming. The overall #1 seed losing in the 1st round to the worst rated team in the tournament. Yikes. Feel really bad for the Cavaliers they will go down on the wrong side of history.

what an ending to the Houston-Michigan game. UH blows two FT and UM get a 3 pointer at the buzzer to win by one. Play your freakin' FTs.

Yeah this year a whole lot of upsets ... my brackets are a mess after yesterday... it will be interesting how all this turns out. I went down to The states to check out some games, tickets were cheap and lots of seats but excited fans all talking about their brackets but not as much in previous years.

Of the 4 games last night only Michigan was the higher rank to win, the other 3 games the lower rank teams upset, that included a Gonzaga loss to Florida State, 4 vs 9, plus Kentucky is out ... more games today.

The game last night between K-State & Kentucky was a travesty for Kentucky...K-State lost their best player of the game with minutes left (Sneed). Gilgeous-Alexander took matters into his own hands when the ball should be in Knox's...props to K-State for grinding till the end. Any top rank facing K-state shouldn't sleep on them.

The positive of a mess like this is you no longer have to cheer for your bracket picks and can get excited about the games themselves.

Looks like Michigan got over the rust from the first weekend and now actually look like a team.

The cream rises to the top and Nova is exactly that.
Have Villanova making it to the finals ... too bad the right side of my brackets doesn't agree with the left side lol they were to face UNC but that's not going to happen. Semi are Saturday look as follows with the winners meeting on Monday to decide who wins it all.

Loyola vs Michigan
Villanova vs Kansas

In the women's the final four are all number 1s

I had them winning it all from the very beginning. Probably the only thing I got right once the round of 32 started. Loyola-Chicago what a great story though.

I have Nova as well but of course the other side of the bracket is a mess. We've been fortunate in recent years that there are always at least one sleeper team that makes waves. This year they make it to the final four, a real treat!

So Villanova looked absolutely dominant winning the Championship. Their coach deserves a ton of credit, a superb basketball mind. Good run for Michigan but they were outclassed in the final.
