Sounds that way...

In another interview she revealed how she couldn’t have sleeping tablets around “because if I have a few drinks I’ll take them”.

She added: “On tour, it was just so easy to say: ‘I can’t sleep, I’ve had a couple of drinks, maybe I’ll take one.’ Then you take another. Then you don’t wake up. That can happen. I am careful now.”

Depression is such an awful disease. RIP

Sad to see her go, never got into the Cranberries. Too much of an Echo and The Bunnymen rip off band.

No one has mentioned that Moody Blues woodwinds/singer Ray Thomas also passed away. He didn't write many song but when he did they were unforgettable.

One of my favourite songs.

When an artist dies like this, if you don't have anything nice to say, you should probably just shut up, clueless retard.

It's also a bit rich comparing The Cranberries to a borderline irrelevant, fourth rate UK parochial flunky band like Echo and the Bunnymen.
I think they had like close to zero record sales in North America. They'll be lucky if they get 2 per cent the acclaim The Cranberries get from history.

As for Dolores O'riordan, my feeling on hearing this news was just - no Dolores no. In the end I guess she was just too good for this world.
Spent many long hours listening to The Cranberries in the nineties and the zeroes.
She had such a luminous, haunting, soulful voice that you could emotionally connect with. I feel hurt by this early death, I'm going to miss her.
