The Australian Open is under way, I watched Shapo's match against another young prodigy. He was in complete control for most of the match but lost focus in the last set. He limited the damage by taking the tie breaker. He looks like he's been hitting the gym when not practicing his shot making. His shoulder look rounder than they did during the US Open. His opponents will be scouting him more thoroughly but they're still going to have a tough time. His weaknesses are minimal. His backhand and his return of serve have improved, the later has some gusto to it. He's in a tough draw, he will face Jo Wilfred Tsonga in the next round. If he gets by him, more than likely he'll face the lovely Nik Kyrgios.
