Manchester United 1 Seville 2...Vincenzo Montella outsmarts The Special One.

I still think AC Milan made a mistake in firing him. Now Seville advance while Milan will almost certainly be eliminated. Gattuso is passionate but has not developed Montella's tactical mind.

Is Chelsea the most hated club in Europe?

Theresa May will do nothing about the nerve gas attack, apart from expelling a few Russian diplomats. Seizing Russian assets would be bad for London's economy which Oligarchs own a big chunk of. Of course Ambramovich knew about the attack, he's Putin's eyes and ears in the city. Seizing assets would push Chelsea to bankruptcy, no one wants that - do they?

AC Milan went down for the count. Just a pity that the game was marred by an incompetent Swedish referee. He seemed to be the 12th player for Arsenal.

Well because it doesn't carry the cost of the Olympics. We have 4 stadiums in Canada (Edmonton, BC, Montreal, Rogers Centre) large enough to host the world Cup matches without building anything. BMO field they can add additional 10K seats (to 40K capacity) at very little cost.

The USA hosting the 2026 World Cup is not a forgone conclusion, Trump is indifferent. The 2022 WC will be a fiasco of Blatter proportions, over one thousand migrant workers have died building the infrastructure in Qatar. Like the IOC, FIFA has a history of supporting dictatorships. The PRC will probably host the 2026 event. The nation's current slide into tyranny can be traced back to the 2008 Olympics.

Wellbeck did a dive 3 feet from the 4th official, who awarded him with a penalty. It has to be the worst case of corruption in soccer I have ever seen. Wellbeck was not touched by Rodriques.

Swedes should not be allowed as referees.

The Cul'es at Camp Nou saw this coming a mile away. We don't hate him, we just have no use for him. Brazilians love $$$ more than futbol, no matter how good they are at it. We've seen this historically.

Barca has lost one game against Espanyol all season, that's it. We're doing fine without him. Coutinho will prove to be a Barca mainstay. Neymar was a squatter.

As Woody Harrelson would say: it's time to nut up or shut up for Italian clubs. Roma has no chance. I had a chat with Nigel Reed recently, very charming and eloquent man. He's becoming for Canada what Martin Tyler and Bruno Pizzul are to their respective nations.

Mario Balotelli wants to return to the Azzurri. His form with Nice suggests he would make a good addition, 22 goals in 30 matches. Certainly he's needed against Argentina (my odds on favorite to win the WC) but its a big risk. He has mellowed, he now has children of his own but Mino Raiola is still his agent. Manchester United paid Jve $109.5 US to get another of his clients Paul Pogba back. He's become a headache for The Special One.

The only consolation I'll get from Barcelona - Roma, if the separatists persist in Catalonia, Barcelona's capital will decline. If Rome becomes a City State (like Washington, Hamburg and Bremen) its capital will increase.

He's still The Special One and the money spent on ManU could buy three Sevilles. He got outsmarted by a coach who's not even fit to stand in The Special One's shadow. If Montella were still coaching Ac Milan, they would have progressed.

It looks like Elliot Management will take over Ac Milan. Mr Yu cannot come up with the $US 14.10 Million he owes the hedge fund.

The Azzurri looked listless against Argentina, it left me depressed. Messi didn't play, no sense in putting him out there against Verratti for a friendly. Verratti has been blamed for PSG bowing out again. But he's still the only player on the planet that can cover Messi. Last year when PSG did their thunderous choke job against Barcelona, Verratti did not play. Marco needs to leave PSG ASAP.

There has never been anything 'Special' about Mou. If ever the profile of 'Insecure Narcissist' fit anyone, it fits him to a 'T'. It's all self aggrandizing promotion of the first kind. It's all in his head and only in his head. (Sound familiar?)

At his core, Mou is a tree dwelling, river squatting, bare-hand-ass-wiping-peasant who found out he likes expensive suits and attention. It could have been a farm, a store or a circus but he does this through futbol.

"Someone must be out to screw me, I don't know who but I'm sure there is. So, I'll just screw everyone first before they get to me." That thought must go through his mind every waking minute.

He preaches the lowest, cheapest most disgraceful form of futbol and his parishioners buy into it, again, like the cult of 'Insecure Narcissists". The further he falls, the more he deserves it.

I think you are being overly harsh on The Special One. His time at Real may have been a failure but he did win Italy's last Champions Cup with Internazionale. If it doesn't work out at Manchester, the Neroblu will gladly take him back.
