The principal owner has to have a personal cash net worth of at least 30% of the value of the team, plus they look for single owners as opposed to a bunch of wannabees like Diddy, curry etc. They want to become more diversified and get rid of the old white boys club but you gots to have the Benjamins.

I don't know what Diddy is worth but I'm guessing not that much unless he starts liquidating stuff and he would still need massive help from a bank. It will be a wealthy white guy imo.
