Done with SPs on twitter

A few years ago, as twitter was becoming more and more popular with SPs, it was a great way to become a bit more familiar before meeting. Lately, it's just become a place to bitch, whine, compliment-seek and beg for gifts. Total turnoff...

There are some ladies worth following but I would agree with the OP that the majority are as he describes. Personally, I don’t follow any SP who complains about her job, her clients, etc. I just make a mental note to avoid them.

Ironically, it has been my observation that the ladies who charge the highest rates also tend to be the biggest complainers.

Great thread! I have noticed the same things with some SP's. I found this to be helpful as to who not to book with. In my experience I found that communication through DM on Twitter has been efficient. Twitter has allowed me to get a gauge as to the level of professionalism of some SP's. I prefer a provider who is experienced and professional.

I haven't seen what you and others have talked about but you guys would probably search more ladies on twttier then me. So I am going to take your word for it.

I think it would be a good thing though, no? As said, you can really decide a lot better who to see and who not to. And you only have to follow the ladies you like. The ones I know are like me, just posting selfies and pics of our coffee or dinner. Lol.

All I'm reading is reasons why Twitter is an excellent research tool - it seems to have provided personal info about ladies' personalities so you can get a glimpse of what you will experience and provides a way to communicate with them. Can you not unfollow someone?

You can choose to follow whomever you like. You can unfollow a person whenever you like. Some Twitter pages have selfies/pics, sometimes contact/website info unavailable elsewhere. If the person is whining, complaining, gift-begging, etc, you can unfollow and avoid seeing said SP.

I’ve seen a few ask for $2,000 handbags, Rolexes and some, even, cars. ARGH. I have to unfollow them. Some get offendended.
They get offended because you unfollowed them? I don't use Twitter so I don't know how it works - do they get a notification when unfollowed (obviously when followed they do so they can approve)? Does it ask you to say why? And are you unfollowing but continuing to see these ladies so they have the chance to ask?

I have to agree that the not-too subtle messages about wanting extravagant gifts rubs me the wrong the way too.

And if you unfollow someone on Twitter, that person gets a notification of it.

OK. So they've gotten a notification. So what? Are they hounding you on phone/email to find out why? Can't you ignore a message or come up with a reason (even a lie)?

I'm going to be honest in saying I don't think this is as big an issue. If the thread was just about ladies doing this in general being good/bad, ok. But this problem is easily solved. Similarly, if I don't like the tv show I'm watching, I can just turn it off. If people are annoyed by Terb responses, ignore, don't answer, and/or get off Terb. As the Mod just posted, bunch of negative stuff being posted lately.

I remember when I chose to go to Wonderland, chose to ride the roller coaster 10 times, and then blamed Wonderland because I got sick...walk away.

I don't follow sex workers on twitter.

Good pics, good reviews and price within my budget is all I need to know.

LOL - Who are you following??!!

I check out some of the local girls - Daley, Ryan, Carmen, Callie, Teena Mae, the Minx girls and a few others. And they're just fun! Lots of hot, sultry selfies and silly pet photos and general goofing around!

never used twitter to check out, chat or arrange meeting (if it does that too) with any SP. If its there to rant, gift lists etc as per OP, I got no interest in any of this BS. Don't know, but doesn't these social sites leave pop ups on your internet browsing?

Oh it's real. I made the statement earlier that I think wishlists indicate entitlement. I will amend that by being more specific. If a girl posts a wishlist or a Twitter post for something reasonable (bottle of wine, chocolates, a book) I do not think they are entitled. But I do think there is something wrong when a lady posts specific luxury items and "begs" to be showered with them.

That is precisely what twitter is for; it helped you weed out women you don't want to meet, even if they might be very attractive.. that is a big win for any "John"; unless you are uber rich and don't care about budgets, there are way too many beautiful women doing this, and any help in filtering them is welcomed. I use Twitter for that, to get a bit more info on an escort personality and of course look at her cute pictures. I am a very happy lurker

For those that complain about gifts:
are you using Twitter to message her? or are you liking or commenting each and every post she makes? then expect some push about gifts, remember she is using Twitter as a business tool, you are not her friend, just a follower. Don't bother her and she won't bother you

I've recently joined Twitter to be able to announce changes in my schedule (e.g. vacation time, etc.). I'm having a professional site done and cannot make changes to it myself. I'm only allowed 2 changes post completion, which will be allotted to additional pictures and reviews down the road. Frankly, I'm too busy dealing with two businesses to spend much time posting anything anywhere, but do feel that social media is an excellent tool if utilized correctly.

I see nothing wrong with SPs using Twitter any way they want to. Some just post fun stuff, others post some trivial politics too, and yet others solicit or post pics of their score (i.e. the dinner dates, paid-for vacations, etc.) It's an insight into the kind of money that is passed from men to women daily all in the name of sex. There are lots of ballers out there that drop thousands on ladies without hurting their wallets.

Indeed, it is.

Congrats on your new site, it looks great!
