NEWSNATIONAP-NORC Poll: 52 percent say country worse off under Trump

By The Associated Press December 16, 2017 10:19 AM

WASHINGTON - Americans are painting a pessimistic view of the country and President Donald Trump as 2017 comes to a close.

That's according to a new poll from The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research. The survey shows less than a quarter of Americans think Trump has made good on the pledges he made to voters.

Among Republicans, just half say Trump has kept his promises, which included vows to overhaul his predecessor's health care law, withdraw the U.S. from a nuclear accord with Iran and invest millions in new projects to fix the nation's aging infrastructure. None of those steps have been taken.

Just three in 10 Americans said the U.S. is heading in the right direction, and 52 percent said the country is worse off since Trump became president.

Well now reality is beginning to sink in. Many of those are also Trump supporters who will be hurting when they will no longer be covered under the Affordable Health Care and though some of them may get some small tax deductions for now, in the long run they will be paying for it to support the wealthy as the deficit grows.

I’m surprised it’s as high as that.

But, we’re a year in and he hasn’t destroyed the world yet, so he exceeded my expectations.

He’s overhauled taxes, all things considered that’s a pretty big win. It’s probably the greatest gift he could give to his family and other 1%er octogenarians or soon to be. Particularly with regards to estate taxes.

With a couple more wins and no impeachment before mid-terms, his second term might be assured.

If a poll show anti-Trump sentiment, it is fake by a failing company.

If it is favourable to Trump, it is proof of his greatness.

The Killary wasn't elected, so the world did not have to suffer from another of her monthly cycle attempts to do so.

Still a lot more skeletons to bring out of the closet from the Mueller Investigation. Off course Trumpty Dumpty must be having more and more sleepless nights.

"More skeletons"? That suggests that he actually found a skeleton. Hopefully, he'll share that find, soon.

Sure, we should wait and see. Why is Trump getting so restless if there was "no collusion" with Russia.

Because after a year with Mueller and 21 months with the FBI investigating and still no "collusion" but hurting my reputation id be pissed too.

As I said before this is probably going to end by early spring.

Whitewater took about 3000 days, Iran/Contra took about 2500 days.
This one is moving fast but its a massive investigation.
You're going to need a big supply of popcorn.
