Obviously something either caught up with them or they found something money could neither buy nor fix.

There is a statement that came from the family through the Sherman's lawyer. Just copying an pasting it below...
Our parents shared an enthusiasm for life and commitment to their family and community totally inconsistent with the rumors regrettably circulated in the media as to the circumstances surrounding their deaths,” the statement said.
“We are shocked and think it’s irresponsible that police sources have reportedly advised the media of a theory which neither their family, their friends nor their colleagues believe to be true.
“We urge the Toronto Police Service to conduct a thorough, intensive and objective criminal investigation, and urge the media to refrain from further reporting as to the cause of these tragic deaths until the investigation is completed.”
So no estate planning would allow for a new house to be put in a wife’s name?
And it’s impossible for someone to gain entry into a house without signs of forcible entry?

So you are saying that the police are wrong to be probing it as a murder suicide? They have not considered your possibilities? Genius indeed.
Not to mention police aren't looking for any suspects but yet there's two bodies hanging in a house.

I'm not saying there aren't possibilities. I'm simply suggesting based of the info that's currently out there, seems like a murder/suicide to me.

Dude killed his wife than himself. Money doesn't absolve people from doing horrible things. Infact, usually you probably had to do some horrible things to have that money. It it what it looks like.
You have pretty good instincts... I had some interaction with him in a business transaction some years ago, and that is exactly what he was like. Even then, there were tons of rumours about him being involved with all kinds of things that went beyond normal business strategies for a pharma company.
That being said, I wouldn’t want to be the police here. It may look like a murder-suicide, and that seems entirely possible to me, but it could be some kind of Russian/South American/who knows organized crime payback made to look like a murder-suicide.
