I don't know if I'm just unlucky, but I find those cards (even if valid), are accepted at fewer and fewer places these days. It's almost to the point where they'll be good for online shopping only.

I'd suggest transferring the balance off the card right away.

You can imagine someone could buy a card, have you check it at the beginning of the session, and then one of the dude's co-conspirators goes and buys something online with the card while you're in session.
