Israeli's also openly celebrate attacks on civilians.
Like I say, investigate and charge both sides.

Interesting. You did notice the article described them as a radical group and Israel charged them with incitement right? It's right there in the title. If you weren't ideologically blind you would be congratulating Israel for prosecuting them.

Fact is Hamas, the party that represents roughly half of Palestinians celebrates attacks on civilians and the the party that represents the other half pay salaries to terrorists convicted by Israel.

There are more examples,...
Are you not going to congratulate Israel for arresting radical Jews who incite violence? Hamas is too busy inciting violence to arrest people for doing the same.

Again, Hamas is the government of Gaza and they officially celebrate attacks on civilians but you only want to criticize a few Israelis who instead of having to hide in shelters from Hamas rockets went out to celebrate the IDF hitting back at Hamas. A few people cheering war is bad but nowhere near as troublesome as a government officially celebrating terror attacks targeting civilians.

You mean like the celebration of the King David Hotel terrorism?
Same difference.

Its time to apply the law to both sides.

The UN is about to publish the latest recommendations, including noting that Israel is failing to obey UN SC resolution 2334.
They recommend:
66. The Special Rapporteur recommends that the Government of Israel bring a complete end to the 50 years of occupation of the Palestinian territories in as expeditious a time period as possible, under international supervision.

The Special Rapporteur also recommends that the United Nations General Assembly:

Commission a United Nations study on the legality of Israel’s continued occupation of the Palestinian territory;

Consider the advantages of seeking an advisory opinion from the International Court of Justice on the question of the legality of the occupation;

Consider commissioning a legal study on the ways and means that UN Member States can and must fulfill their obligations and duties to ensure respect for international law, including the duty of non-recognition,**the duty to cooperate to bring to an end a wrongful situation and the duty to investigate and prosecute grave breaches of the Geneva Conventions.

Consider the adoption of a Uniting for Peace resolution with respect to the Question of Palestine, in the event that there is a determination that Israel’s role as occupier is no longer lawful.

The occupation is illegal.
All land gains by Israel are illegal.
Every single settlement is illegal.

Considering the number of times that you've made excuses for Hamas terrorism because they haven't officially committed a terror act in the past 6 months, it's more than a bit disingenuous for you to bring up an attack on a military target that occurred 80 years ago by a group that was forcibly disarmed by the IDF.

You go to disgusting lengths to avoid criticism of Hamas and the other Palestinian terror factions. As your articles show, Israel prosecutes terrorism from both Jews and Arabs while the PA and Hamas celebrate terrorism against Jews.

p.s. It is laughable that you want to listen to the UN Dictators Rights Council but refuse to listen to the UNGA and UNSC when they say that Two States is the only realistic solution.

Sure, lets listen to the UN GA and UN SC.
Israel has been deemed to be in breach of many of the leading precepts of international humanitarian and human rights law. Its settlement enterprise has been characterized as illegal by the United Nations Security Council.
https://www.globalresearch.ca/un-pa...to-stop-ethnic-cleansing-of-palestine/5616477

The settlements are all illegal and contrary to the two state solution.
Prove you support the two state solution by calling for Israel to cede all the settlements and disputed occupied territories to Palestine right now.

That is what the UN SC has demanded, do you not respect the law?

“In June 2017, Israel’s occupation of the Palestinian territory – the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and Gaza – marked its 50th anniversary. This is the longest-running military occupation in the modern world. Notwithstanding insistent calls by the international community, most recently in 2016, that the Israeli occupation must come to a complete end, that many of its features are in profound breach of international law, and that its perpetuation both violates the fundamental right of the Palestinian people to self-determination and undermines the possibility of a two-state solution, it has become more entrenched and harsher than ever. Indeed, the Israeli occupation has become a legal and humanitarian oxymoron: an occupation without end.”

Great. I am happy that in your elitism, you are no longer promoting the Palestinians and Israelis are forced into a one state peace that both sides detest.

p.s. Your "in June 2017" statement was not from the UNSC but from that same Dictator Rights Council.

If you and Israel fully implement all the recommendations of the UN Rapporteur on Israel, the Canadian, Michael Lynk, there is a slight chance for the two state solution.
So do you back all his recommendations or do you support continuing the apartheid regime?

What does it mean when you want to accept the words of a guy hired by a Human Rights group made up of Saudi Arab and Qatar but ignore the views of the actual UN?

Now you've got a hateon for Canadians as well?

Oh, and sure, lets also refresh ourselves on the views of the UN SC, through 2334.
Resolution 2334 (2016)
Adopted by the Security Council at its 7853rd meeting, on
23 December 2016
The Security Council,
Reaffirming its relevant resolutions, including resolutions 242 (1967), 338
(1973), 446 (1979), 452 (1979), 465 (1980), 476 (1980), 478 (1980), 1397 (2002),
1515 (2003), and 1850 (2008),
Guided by the purposes and principles of the Charter of the United Nations,
and reaffirming, inter alia, the inadmissibility of the acquisition of territory by
force,

Reaffirming the obligation of Israel, the occupying Power, to abide
scrupulously by its legal obligations and responsibilities under the Fourth Geneva
Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War, of
12 August 1949, and recalling the advisory opinion rendered on 9 July 2004 by the
International Court of Justice,
Condemning all measures aimed at altering the demographic composition,
character and status of the Palestinian Territory occupied since 1967, including East
Jerusalem, including, inter alia, the construction and expansion of settlements,
transfer of Israeli settlers, confiscation of land, demolition of homes and
displacement of Palestinian civilians, in violation of international humanitarian law
and relevant resolutions,
Yup, all those settlements you like so much are all illegal and a war crime.
Stop supporting apartheid.

You mean the Canadian lawyer S. Michael Lynk?...
Yes, he was hired by a bunch of nasty dictators on a "human rights" group that doesn't investigate those nasty dictatorships. When was the last time the HRC condemned Saudi Arabia?

It is sad that instead of supporting peaceful relations, all you do is make excuses for why it is okay for Hamas (and much of Fatah) to reject the concept of peace.

Saudi Arabia, but that's now an ally of Israel, you can't be criticizing them now!...
I'm not the one afraid to criticize countries that deserve it.

Despite the massive problems with human rights in the Arab world, the dictators on the HRC prevent investigations from happening.

Hmmm, lets see....

What are the massive problems in the middle east.

Stupid US invasions in Iraq, Afghanistan, Saudi backed Yemen, Turkey becoming totalitarian, Syria being fucked over by pretty much everyone, Israel with its 50 year apartheid colonization, Egypt and a host of countries screwing the chances they had with Arab Spring, Saudi and Israel prepping to attack Lebanon....

Of those, threads about Iraq and Afghanistan don't go far. Everyone agrees its fucked and hardly anyone thinks it needs more bombing.
Nobody seems to care much about Turkey, and its a slow burn.
Syria is a disaster, but there's no solution and the least worst is Russia helping put it back into an Assad police state. That's still better then it is now.

The only country that generates this much debate is Israel, where you keep defending apartheid and colonialism and I try to defend human rights.
Its not the country, its your defence of apartheid that's doing it.

As usual you look for excuses to blame the US or Israel but refuse to hold Arabs accountable for their actions. The fact that you've even gone so far as to commend Iran and Syria shows how warped your moral compass is.

How violent is it to dig a tunnel in your home territory?
I thought you said Palestinians were free to do as they please within Gaza?
Are you now stating that yes, it really is the world's largest open air prison and no prisoners may dig tunnels out?

Either you are now denying sanity and saying the tunnel was not into Israel or you are agreeing with Hamas that Israel is really Palestinian land.

Instead of making excuses for Palestinian violence, why don't you try actually promoting peace?
