Yankees fans are not shy about expressing themselves, Giancarlo Stanton (sounds like a spaghetti western gunslinger) has been hearing it loud for most of this young season. Sonny Gray didn't get a Bronx Cheer (the ultimate insult) but the rain of boos singed his ears.

Lourdes Gurriel is a Cuban defector, welcome to Toronto.

To make room for T Hernandez, they are probably looking to trade one of 4 outfielders or Morales. The latter is my fav idea, then the DH is one of JD, Martin, Travis , Pearce, or Tulo (if he ever comes back) when it’s their rest day.

You'd think Grichuk would be the first to go. He seems completely lost at the plate right now.

Morales is currently showing better form than Smoak who has regressed after a very bright start.

Nice start for Gurriel. If he's one of the projected future infielders, lets keep him up for some on the job training...there is no way he could hit less than Ngoepe.

Hoping for a split in NY now, that would be a good trip!

This is true. Morale was signed prior to 2017 not only as DH but also 1B backup in case Smoak stunk again. Instead Smoak had an AS season.

Hmmm maybe since Morales is signed thru 2019 while Smoak is a FA at end of season, maybe they trade Smoak and 1B is combo of Pearce, Morales, Martin and whoever else can catch a ball.

Teo H is creating good problems. L Guerriel looks like the real deal too.

It's so refreshing to see all this new blood and off-season pick-ups working out. And that is without their top two prospects. SSS of course.

I say we trade Tulowitzki and Grichsuck for a long reliever. Jays might have to eat partial salary on Tulo for that to happen, but I think its best for the team (as well as for the 2 players) if they trade them.

Jays are currently lacking a consistent long reliever, a guy who can eat up 3 or 4 innings

"Grichsuck", lol! Maybe they should trade him to the Braves for Bautista.

Tulo has a guaranteed 54 million left on his contract, I imagine the Jays would have to eat 30-35 million of that.

On a better note, Sale and Price are pitching for Boston today and tomorrow...so we have a good chance of missing both pitchers next week at home.

I realize thats a lot of money, but as it stands now we have 4 middle infielders (Diaz, Solarte, Gurriel and Devo). So what do you do with Tulo when he comes off the DL?? The way Diaz is playing (he's on track to hit 25+ homeruns) I cant see Tulo taking over from him. But I guess that can change in a month or two

Troy Tulowitzki isn't going anywhere unless he wants to be traded to a specific team, and that club is able to work something out with the Blue Jays.

It is a good question. The Tulo trade was the one I was most excited about as I was a huge fan of his. It is now the most disappointing one.

So if you're Gibby, what do you do with him when comes off DL?? (assuming Diaz keeps playing like he is now)

I'd deal with that when the day comes, , as Gibby has said, "the players make out the lineup" .... the players will decide who plays.

Stroman just had a very poor outing. Maybe left in too long?

Not the ace it seems he thinks he is.

BTW,

For all you guys that place so much emphasis on the manager and felt last year they should have fired Gibby, it's a amazing what happens when you surround the manager with better talent.
