Indians go out in 3, Donaldson did okay though, he got one homerun and 2 ribbies in his short stint.

He was not back long enough to get his timing down , Avoiding injury he should be a decent player for a few more seasons. Maybe DH
Never understood that deal. Everyone said what you said as soon as the deal was made. Something was going on that forced the trade. The Tulo deal was one of the worse as they knew they had a long term contract with an injury prone athelete. . But I think the best deal , from a financial view, was for Price for he created a fan interest that management rode for a few years which is why they never traded the Vets when they were at most value as they wanted to keep the seats full
It was risk on Cleveland's part. You trade for a guy that's been hurt all year hoping he'll perform well in the playoffs. It was a gamble that didn't work out of them.

Here are the names I have come across that are supposedly being considered for the Jay's managers job: John MacDonald, Eric Wedge, Stubby Clapp, David Bell, Sandy Alomar jr., David Valle, Eduardo Perez, Joe Girardi, Rocco Baldelli, Rob Thompson, Chris Woodward and Joe Espada. Will probably have a few more names turn up as the local media have columns to write and it's a slow news day! If I missed anyone, please submit the name.
Phil; Not sure anybody but Atkins and the people above him know what is going on! I have found approximately 20 names of people that are supposedly candidates for the job. Atkins, in an interview I heard said he wanted between 5 and 10 quality candidates. my guess is a bunch of news guys are having slow days and throwing names against a wall and seeing what if anything sticks. Even if they have their guy it may take a while before the announcement. They are competing for the best guy against the other teams that are looking for managers, so once they decide on a guy they ,may have to move fast. Hope the name comes forward soon!

The media did an awesome job of calling this one, in over 20 names I saw submitted by the media not one mentioned Montoya. Apparently he speaks Spanish fluently and has an excellent knowledge of analytics!
