The options in the poll went up to 57 wins, I think the Raptors will exceed that, might even get to 60.

This years NBA season has been spectacular. Raps are serious contenders to win the NBA championship. There is no gaurantee Golden State will win again. They too have serious competition with Houston.. Go Raps Go!

. ....19-6 for the stretch gets us there....!

..And now 41 and counting into the allstar break, 7 game winning streak, Coach and his pupils at allstar game, yes it's been an exhilarating run so far. Can they keep this intensity and ability to be better tomorrow through June? All I know is that this group is the most fun to watch together to play the game (and I include the VC teams from days gone by) for 48 minutes. Enjoy the break, refresh, heal and focus on the stretch. Things get tough right off the bat after the break as they take on wanabees Bucks and Pistons. Each have their merits but nothing in a complete package as the Raps do. They'll be good tests to start the run in.....Lets go Raptors! :applause:

Dwayne Casey deserves to be coach of the year.

They took some serious strides this season and it wasn't through major trades or signings.

If they stay healthy I see them having a serious chance of being in the finals.

They were discussing on the radio that Lebron sometimes simulates things by playing his teams line up on NBA 2K..... there's a screen shot of him with his new look Cavs vs the Raptors. Coincidence? I think not.

The Cavs were weird this year.... they went with old banged up big names.... they were right to blow it up when it wasn't working because they don't know how long Lebron will stay so it is now or never. Plus he will be more likely to stay if he believes he has a good team around him.... not sure if he has a team that he would stay around for.

Love to see the Vince Jersey being pulled out during the dunk contest ... Especially when that VC jersey is a Raptors Jersey .

Great to see the Raptors were well represented at the All star weekend, it is now time to get back to work and get serious about winning the Eastern conference, Cleveland has improved since the trade. I think they will catch Boston but not Toronto, Toronto will need to take the east, it will set them up well for a shot at the finals.

We don't play Cleveland until March 23 and then again on April 4th. I don't think those games will matter by that point. Both teams may be coasting into the playoffs by then. We may not know how we stack against Cleveland's new lineup until we meet in the conference playoffs.
I am worried that there is too much confidence at this point. Some of these other eastern conference teams like Washington, Philadelphia Miami and Milwaukee if healthy can always give us problems along the way.

Charles Barkley thinks there are qty 4 elite teams in the NBA. Toronto, Cleavland, Golden State, Houston. I tend to agree. I dont see how any of the other teams in the NBA can beat the 4 elite Teams in a best of 7 series.

Wonk, yes they are on a 7 gamer and looking good but overconfidence won't be an issue, I don't think. Again, I think these two games coming out of the break will be telling. Bucks and Pistons are 2 of those problematic teams so starting this stretch run with results will go a long way for the rest of the season. And NWorld elite's the word and the state of mind the Raps have to get comfortable with. If they can embrace that, then being top of the east heading into the playoffs is real and a great run is possible. Regardless, I look forward to a final run that might be one for the ages for this franchise! Let's go Raptors!

Masai shot down the possibility of bringing back vince this season as he doesnt want his spotlight to overshadow how well the current crew is performing. But affalo from orlando is rumoured if the magics buy him out. Dude is past him prime but can bring veteran presence and shoots a career 38.9% downtown

You have to respect Masai for resisting the temptation of signing Vince ... It shows he will make a move if it is a good basketball decision and not make a move cause it's pretty and will get headlines ...

welcum back D from your annual sojourn and yes, time for you to leave again so the streak can remain alive!:applause::bolt: Btw, they've been practicing the hammer while you've been sunning and also, since you're so sensitive, they let Bruno go once you went away so you wouldn't fall off a cliff... :sorry:

Great to be back,(that's a lie)! Would be happy to return to the sun and sand,(that's the truth), especially if you are paying, (now that is really being honest!) Had TV on twice while away, caught the tail end of the super bowl, and one other night surfed until I found ESPN and learned the Raps had won 5 in a row. That called for a rum or two or??? Brunos gone! (pours a rum), like I need an excuse! Missed you guys!(naw, another lie!)

Is it just my luck that every time I got into watching the Raptors' game, we'd always get screwed by the officials ? JV got hammered twice while dunking and no calls. The last play could have ended the game in regulation if it was called fairly. The Raps didn't have a good game but that should have no bearing on how the game should be called.

To me the NBA has the worse officiating among major team sports as it heavily flavor the big market US teams, and in meaningful games against the less teams, the calls always go against the Raps.

I understand the league wants the big market US teams to go far in playoffs but we Raptors fans pay just as much if not more to watch the NBA, so why should we have to endure the frustration of getting treated like second class citizens?
