Delon's out and so is Serge Ibaka for tonight gm. Wondering if Masai will look around for help on G? The Knicks rookie G for tonight is 6'5 and he's good. It would be nice to have Delon around to guard the rook!
..... Solid! Either the Knicks hate road games or something but the Guys showed up and made this easy on everyone, even with the run in the 4th from the 'Bockers but Raps held and then put it away for the third game in a row. Maybe they did learn something last week in Boston. Anyways, good to win when you should. Time to show the Wiz up as wannabees on Sunday and get on a major streak.....

Yup the "A" team showed up again and without 3 guys that they are suppose to need. Bebe looked like he wanted to play and did, now will he show up on Sunday if they need him? That was a good 48 minute game from the TEAM! Wizards beat the Raps earlier without Wall, this time he should be playing and we are down Wright and maybe Powell. Lets see what our boys are made of!

Wasn't that a game after Raptors were returning from their West Coast trip? That could explain things a little.

On current form I expect the Raptors to beat the Wizards. (that's cursed them now!).

If we can beat the Wizards, then we have the Knicks again, the Pacers, the Hawks, Charlotte, and the Pistons, all East Coast teams. I won't say any of these are easy wins. The "A"Team needs to show up every night. It does go to show how Boston might have strung together 14 wins. (even though they beat Golden State)

Quietly we have a winning streak! Good solid win. After 1/5TH of the season already, things look entertaining in RLand. This roadtrip with the BtB with Indy and Atl will be a good one to separate us from the pack. Will they??? Still, they are beginning to be fun to watch...

Optimism prevails! Nice win, Wizards without Wall again. That was not pretty but it got the job done. Powell still day to day and Wright?????. Wright IMO has gone from a big plus to a concern, will his shoulder stand up to playing in the NBA? If he stays healthy he is a big plus but if that shoulder is easily injured better go shopping. The difference in length when he replaced Lowery was a plus for the Raptors. VanVleet in a limited role is fine and Brown is a wait and see situation.
Nice win streak, as long as the "A" team shows up it should continue for a while.

I give Massi a C+ for contracts given out but drafting guys like Pascal , OG , and finding guys like Fred VanVleet his gets a A ... This roster has a great blend of Vets and young guns who are hungry and eager to learn and please .

Lowry seems to be in great physical shape and I don't think that's a coincidence that both he and the team are playing well. It's all great to see the hustle and enthusiasm of the young guys too.

Lowry statistically not great ... Points , 3 point % and FG all lower the career average ( all star average )

Interesting! He got knocked down hard a few times in recent games and bounced back ok. That looks more like the old Lowry to me. Maybe the other guys are shooting better so he doesn't have to be the only 3 point threat all the time.

Smud, good point! Since he got kicked out of the first Wiz game, which was after a dreadful start to the season for him, he's gotten his mojo back, getting everyone involved and finding his touch from the outside. Everything starts from a PG for success and in the last few games, he's kicked it back up. Wright's injury is a real downer so KLo will have to find another notch again. Still, good to see him in form again. And DD with the dimes this year and the better 3point average has made this streak fun.

I guess with Lowry the key is to keep him as close to 100 percent as possible when playoffs start ..

Clunk! Just as you think they've figured stuff out, they go to their special place for eight minutes! As conundrums go, they take the cake. I guess we got to get used to this up and down all season long....

I am hoping that Ibaka is playing hurt. If not, his play reminded me of...Carroll..who we just traded away this season!
