Anybody here subscribe to DAZN? ("Da Zone", though I think I will continue to refer to it as "Dazin" in polite conversation. I'm just that cool...)

Thinking of getting it as a step to liberating myself from the tyranny of Rogers. But all of the social media reviews have run the gamut from from "Mehhhh" to "Horrible". It's weird, because streaming video is something that was solved in 1996...don't know what's causing them to (apparently) screw it up so badly.

Before I subscribe to the "Get one month free,no really it's free!" promotion, I figure I'll ask Terb's thoughts -- your thoughts?

Since Dazn is the only way to get NFL Sunday Ticket in Canada I am thinking about trying it. Sure would be nice to hear someone say they have it and it's great.

Thing is, my TV is not internet ready, I have TIVO but from what I can find the app is not compatible. Looks like I need another box ......

I broke down and subscribed. $20 a month but there is a lot of time when I am not at home and my favourite team is not on all that much around here. So Dazn works great to watch on my tablet

If your tv has an hdmi connector slurp you should buy a google chromecast. You will be able to watch games from your Tablet or phone on your tv then

I heard that poor picture quality and constant buffering is troublesome. I have 120Mb service so "shouldn't" have any buffering issues on my end but who knows where the lag is originating? So far my team has been on free TV when i have been home to watch. Plus I just spent 3 weeks in the US for work and had Sunday Ticket on my hotel TV.

Also due to the numerous Dazn complaints Rogers and some others have been able to get Sunday Ticket back for their customers. I'm with Cogeco who seems to buy the games from Rogers so I am hoping to get the games back .... but no cigar this week.

I had checked into Chromecast but if I am forced to go Dazn it is the perfect opportunity to upgrade to a larger 4K TV ..... my wife has been resisting but I told her I need a TV upgrade to watch the games LOL. My previous attempts to convince her my eyesight required a larger TV have failed.

I used DAZN for the NFL season last year. After they had a myriad of complaints in week 2 they even threw in an extra free month to all subscribers. Considering I never had any issues watching games on it at all, I was thrilled with their customer service response.

I had heard about buffering or quality issues, but I never had a problem. Was running their app off a gen 1 firetv with no issues.

I used them for the last month or two last year, picture quality was horrible and constant buffering. I put my account on hold until the NFL started this year. BUT, it's my only choice for Sunday Ticket and I hoped this year would be better. It is although I only watched last week so far. Picture quality was OK (not as good as MLB.TV or broadcast TV) but there was minor buffering, just enough to be annoying.

They also have MLB now but since I got the last 3 months direct from MLB.TV for $30 I had not tried them for that. If I was a soccer fan it would make more sense to pay $20 a month, they have tolns of soccer .... I'll likely suspend my account again after the NFL is over .... like I said, for me it's my best option if they can stop that annoying buffering it will be just OK. It's a waste of about 3.5K of my 4K TV. lol

Having negotiating experience is good to have.

I phoned Rogers and told them I can't do without The Champions League. I told them that I may need to cut back on my specialty channels to afford DAZN (it better be worth my while), so their put those channels as part of my package at no extra charge.

I'm going to need to sign up before Manchester United vs Juve, Barcelona vs Internazionale. The second match will be fascinating, Messy gets to renew his friendship with his Croatian buddies. Get the curazz out!

Sid is lovely, it will be the last time he mangles Bernardeschi's name...btw Andrea Pirlo just earned his coaching certificate. It's become a valuable piece of paper, Rafa Benitez, Lothar Matthaus and Mauricio Pochettino are some examples of non-Italians who've graduated from the program.

DAZN is working great for me. I'm loving it.

Crystal clear picture, no streaming problems. I have a '55 4K set.

Live and on demand.

I don't have Rogers, Bell or any cable vampires so it suits me just fine.

Guess I have to move to the big city. I also have a 55" 4K and the picture quality is poor compared to all other video sources (cable, DVD, youtube, Netflix, etc) and I also have occasional annoying buffering issues on my 120Mbps internet feed. DAZN has a long way to go. If it wasn't the only way to get NFL GamePass in Canada I would happily trash it forever.

I subscribed last week to watch Bellator 206, and this is what I experienced. It was horrible. I even missed parts of a fight.

I'm watching right now and it's actually perfect.

Perhaps an ethernet connection might help?

I have the best that Roger's offers, and I have no problem streaming Netflix or UFC Fight Pass.
Exactly. Different provider but no issues with any other streaming service, only DAZN. And I am using ethernet rather than wireless.

I am visiting in the US and wanted to watch Redzone yesterday, you cannot use DAZN for NFL in the US. I spoke to a rep using online chat and they verified I was unable to do this. While online I asked about the buffering issues and the rep admitted to me they have problems and are working to correct them. You would think in their second year they would have a handle on things. Amazing that the NFL aligns themselves with such a Mickey Mouse outfit.
