I'm confused. .
Yes you are.

When you call someone a "loser", how is that not "childish insulting"? Or was this intentionally ironic?.
I call members losers,... when they can't read.
Actually read my rebuttals about insulting,... then get back to me.

Regardless, the truth is out there.

If you and the pieces I've glanced at from news [sic] agencies that speak for the guys in Klan, Nazi and Trump wear is true, this deserves to be known.
Of coarse the "truth needs to be known",... just what the hell do you think everybody wants,... ???

Agreed, when some losers here don't like a members post,... they will always start tolling off subject with childish insulting.

No one on a quest for "facts" needs to justify it to anyone.

That's absolutely absurd. Some of you need to stop the hysteria.
Agreed. But trolling the web for amateur videos falls somewhat short of anything like a responsible search for truth. More like a pastime or hobby.

Particularly this early in the investigative process, to compare that sort of understandable interest with what we hope and trust trained experts and responsible authorities will do with their powers of search and subpoena and their hours and weeks of work in labs and interview rooms is kinda like asking the Guild of 9/11 Conspiracy Believers to send you an application package.

What the hell ????? You loser...!!!! They are all just autocorrect errors. Every one of them. Calm down snowflake / libtard (et al). What the hell????!

Everyone knows those mistakes aren't evidence of his limited intelligence.

...Unlike his ideas. They are evidence of his limited intelligence.

So is leaving Auto-correct turned on. If you actually correct its mistakes no one will ever know, and you'll give the appearance of being someone intelligent enough to use a smartphone. But leaving Auto-Crap's errors to stand says the poster hasn't even the pretend intelligence of that lump of metal and plastic.

I always wonder, "If the poster can't be bothered to read and correct, why should we bother to read and comment?" But I'm addicted.

He must just be too busy winning to ever read what he's already posted. Why shoe all the losers hear how good a speller he is?

Strangely, he seems to refer to his previous posts often enough to make me believe he scans them occasionally.

Spelling, punctuation, grammar, word choice and syntax are really tough for certain people.

And another example of just what a coward is.

Speaking of childish, I remember a saying that applies to you. "Can dish it out but can't take it."

Bud Plug.

You have to be thin skinned, very thin skinned indeed, to put anyone on this board on ignore. The deed has never once crossed my mind.

Heather Heyer - fake death...she just decided to stop breathing.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iS9cbH_K
No, you don't have to be thin skinned. If you knew me in real life, you'd know it wouldn't be possible for me to function in my world with thin skin. Rather, in order to use the ignore function, you just have to recognize that exchanges with some individuals have no value. As an example, if you were debating with someone who repeatedly misrepresented your position in order to address straw men, I think you would find that to be pointless. Likewise, if you were debating with someone whose main tactic is to apply unsubstantiated and insulting labels rather than address substantive points, I think you'd find that to be of no value. Finally, if you were dealing with a poster who implausibly asserted authoritative expertise in areas they don't (and couldn't possibly) have expertise, I think you would find dealing with their posts to be a waste of time (particularly if they happened to be commenting on a matter within your own area of expertise). A reasonable person with other things they could be doing will decide what to read and respond to on an internet forum (and an even more reasonable person would question how much of their time they are spending on an internet forum debating politics with strangers at all!). If you find your exchanges on TERB to be of value, I guess you have no use for the ignore button.

There are some boards where moderation would address some or all of these issues. However, every board can choose to moderate as it sees fit. TERB tolerates a fairly large degree of uncivilized, unproductive discourse, compared to any other message board requiring membership that I've frequented. Perhaps it does so to give the more uncivilized members an outlet away from the review forums (which are the real raison d'etre for TERB). Perhaps the mods just find the mud slinging to be entertaining.

Using the ignore button is a form of self moderation. It's the only moderation tool you really have as a member.

As to your post:

1. I've never suggested Heyer isn't dead, nor have I suggested her death is unrelated to the collision. I haven't suggested anything, because there is no information I can find explaining how she died.
2. The video you linked is no longer available.

Let the courts do their job, odds are is that during the trial the required info to put the pieces of the puzzle together will be presented. If you have a problem with the verdict then you can go batnuts, but right now the people that can best answer your question are in the process of putting a case together or in the process of putting a defense together.

People driving cars into other people out of malice is not in the relm of being unbelievable. Unless you know the perp personally and you know for a fact he would not do something like this or he is part of a group that is known for being non violent like the quakers (maybe it is the mormons, one of them is deeply anti violent) then maybe your quest for "facts" might be justified.
The courts will do their job in time. However, if this thread proves anything, it shows that people will draw their own conclusions long before that, and will rely on those conclusions in connection with discussions about such topics as: a) race relations, b) free speech, c) domestic terrorism, etc. Unless you also plan to ban discussion of these issues pending the outcome of the trial, you're being unrealistic in expecting people not to be interested in the facts related to Charlottesville.

I can take what ever some loser initiates.

Including those who have to use a "saying" when attempting to insult.

The video, news reports, eyewitness reports and charges all point to Heyer dying as a result of neo-nazi protester James Fields driving his car into a crowd of people protesting against neo-nazis.

What I can't find anywhere is any legit evidence or theory that disputes this.

Yet you fixate on this case when there are a few million deaths each year in North America you could look at instead/as well.

Unless you doubt the guy was protesting with the neo-nazis, drove his car into the protesters, injured a bunch and killed one, the conclusions are completely valid.

I wholeheartedly disagree with you, particularly as it relates to the specific member you are addressing. Bud plug is clearly all about QUALITY versus QUANTITY. Whether you agree with his ideologies or not, he's obviously not a board troll.

Whereas the two members he has on ignore average FIVE HUNDRED posts per month. In fact Fuji is closer to a THOUSAND. Which IMO, is borderline insanity. Cuckoo. Loco. Terb is clearly a HUGE part of their lives. That's OK for them I guess but some of us have a very finite amount of time to spend online. So I totally understand BP not wanting to be pulled into their constant quagmire of toxic bullshit/taunting/verbal abuse/trolling, etc.

It's not thin-skinned at all, it's smart and time efficient.

I am not saying in any way that you should not have the freedom to investigate whatever you want. I am just saying that your serach for facts using google/facebook/twitter is a futile one, they only thing you will find using those methods is a metric tonne of conspiracy theories. If you are serious then get a plane ticket and go down there, maybe you might be the closest thing to a journalist there is down there.

I think you are seeing the importance of this case as being much higher than it actually is. The US has long been divided amoung racial lines, especially in poor counties.

Just take a chill pill, wait for the trial, read about the facts presented and you can make an informed decision. If you do not agree with the verdict then you can talk about it on terb.

Members put others on ignore in an attempt to let them know they will not be quoting/responding to their posts,... and expect them to do the same.

Generally, most members are adult,... and will not quote/respond to their posts,... unless they are cowards, senile, or just plain ass holes.

Ignore isn't a feature that enables you to censor others.
