"Water Check"

It's a scam - once he's in your house they will identify very serious and very scary water quality issues.... and that's were the sales pitch starts with strong doses of fear mongering and guilt because you're poisoning the family. Out comes the brochure for an over priced water filtration system with a reasonable rental price of $39.99 a month until you die. As an added bonus the shitty Chinese Filtration System will lack any known seals certifying it's quality.

I had a few try to go through my gate telling me they need to inspect my furnace. I told them where to go.

Now they come and ask about the type of thermostat, whether it is black or white and then want to enter your house. If you have the white one, it is the old type. I had just replaced it, so the lady did a u turn.
