3:46 PM:

Trump comments were good. He didn’t attack us. He just said the nation should come together. Nothing specific against us.

He said that we need to study why people are so angry, and implied that there was hate… on both sides!

So he implied the antifa are haters.

There was virtually no counter-signaling of us at all.

He said he loves us all.

Also refused to answer a question about White Nationalists supporting him.

No condemnation at all.

When asked to condemn, he just walked out of the room.

Really, really good.

God bless him.

You really shouldn't visit these hateful sites. They make money from advertising when you do.

Contrast Donald Trump's cream puff response to President Obama's handling of the Oregon land crisis. He sent in US Marshalls with an armoured vehicle to deliver the notice of dispersal. If they resisted The Marines were waiting in the wings. These days US Marshalls are made up of retired American Special Forces.

Yes, because sending storm troopers against your fellow citizens is, clearly, the way to go.

Trump recognizes that there is actual hate from all sides and won't tow the usual media narrative. A rally protesting the removal of historical symbols is not something to condemn, but to discuss. There were some bad apples on both sides (the minority in each group) that were able to turn the event upside down because police refused to separate the protesters and anti-protesters.

I'm quite fond of apologists for fascism, maybe you and Cazzolino should run for government.

To quote Ernest Borgnine from Emperor of the North, "Trump is a chicken livered sissy".

So you equate open racism with a group which advocates equality and fair treatment for all?

If I saw a bunch of Nazis marching down my street, I'd be pretty pissed as well. Nazi values might be YOUR values, but they're not the values of 95% of Americans.

What would you do if you saw a bunch of Muslim guys marching down your street with guns and clubs chanting about jihad and Sharia law. Would it get you a little upset? Or would you want to "discuss" it with them "reasonably"?

That statue was ordered down by a democratic government. It's a chunk of stone commemorating a dude who died 140 years ago and who is forever associated with racism and an insurgent government. There's nothing to discuss. It's a done deal. The only reason you would assemble there in uniform, with shields and clubs and march around giving the Nazi salute and chanting "blood and soil" is because you're a twisted, racist piece of fuck who's looking for violence and trouble.

I balance that against the insight I gain into your views and those of Shogun, Smallcock and the other TERB righties when I see first hand where you get your ideas.

I have never nor would I ever deign to visit a site like that even out of stupid curiosity.

I have no need to see that shit. It's a useless waste of time.

And I also quite frankly don't feel the need to enter into some sort of patently false debate about your cheap labeling. It's a bad tactic that continues to backfire on the PC crowd.

One that has lost over 1000 seats, the House, the Senate, the Presidency, now the SCOTUS and about 2/3 of the governorships.

Once the cheap theatrics worked. It doesn't anymore. I won't meekly cower at the accusation. I will tell you you are wrong. That you are stupid for the accusation and unless your can come up with an intelligent and reasoned response then you are to be dismissed.

I don't have to agree with them let alone compare them to know that they have a right to protest.

If I saw a bunch of Nazis marching down my street, I'd be pretty pissed as well. Nazi values might be YOUR values, but they're not the values of 95% of Americans.

Muslims marching down the street has already happened in the UK many times sans the guns and clubs (which were not present in this rally either - but you have a hell of an imagination.). Anti-protesters don't get in their face and create violence as much as I'm sure they want to. I wouldn't like it at all, but if they have a permit to rally, I have to respect the law and allow them to. When you start breaking the law, even if you think you're on the side of good, you set the stage for worse things to happen. In the age of social media, this can be easily spun to win more support for those that you condemn.

That statue was ordered down by a democratic government. It's a chunk of stone commemorating a dude who died 140 years ago and who is forever associated with racism and an insurgent government. It's not just some "dude" that is being commemorated. "Dudes" don't get commemorated.

I agree, the deal is done, so why not let the protesters protest in peace? They're not going to change the outcome. Nobody would even know nor care about this rally otherwise. We only know about it because of the eruption of violence and now it's international news.

I also agree that the anti-protesters came out for a fight which is reprehensible.

Although that is exactly correct, and I agree fully with you, some just won't listen to it. Anytime a white group assembles, immediately they are all supremacists by media (and many here)
BLM might have 'good' intentions, but their movement obviously has a parallel to the Neo-Nazis as some join that group based only on hating.

The white nationalists have a right to peaceful assembly. Does anyone with an ounce of intelligence, who have seen months of Antifa violence really think the 'counter' protesters (being BLM and Antifa) did not have a huge hand in VA violence? Of course they did.

So then, President Trump is 100% correct saying the hate was on all sides. The bias and fake media only continue to support his statements.
Wow, well said.
