Bryan Murray was a better general manager than his record would have you believe. He had to work with an impossible owner in Ottawa. He established a tradition of winning in Anaheim, as GM he took them to the Stanley Cup Final in 2003. He left after the 2005 non-season. The core of the team was in place for an eventual Stanley Cup - as long as Brian Birke didn't fuck things up too much.
He left us too soon.
