The last time I made a thread like this specifying the race of the perpetrator in the title, it was deleted. I hope the mods will do the same to this thread or else some serious double standards are exposed.

Oagre clearly doesn't like white people, I've seen him on numerous occasions emphasize the whiteness of a person when it suits him and his political agenda.

Or else, any time a Muslim does something wrong which is very very often, we should start referring to them as brown Muslims, and make sure to really emphasize their brownness?

From the video of the incident, the crash appeared deliberate and was set up and executed very carefully. The quote you provided was 3rd hand and essentially unsourced: "police officers think... " Well, WHAT police officers? Why do they think that? Were they present? Did they rely on other accounts, themselves perhaps not first hand either? That's why I did not emphasize the passage you quoted. It was insubstantial and appeared contradicted by my own observation of the video.

The video showed the driver halt the car, pointed at the counter demonstrators and then deliberately "charge" the counter demonstrators from a distance with the car, clearly intending to impact and injure them. There was no attempt to brake or swerve. And no possibility that the murderer could not have seen the victims well in advance, or that the car went somehow out of control.

Based on the contents of the video, the "police officers" quote appears fake news.

"Whiteness" is relevant here, as there is already some right wing spin that "the murderer was a leftie who attacked right wing demonstrators". If the murderer was Black, it would support the latter theory. And as he is White and republican, it tends to support the theory that he was deliberately attacking Blacks and the counter protestors.

It is additionally relevant in that the Klan and the neo Nazis are by definition White supremacist hate groups. It would be unusual that those groups would attract non whites and typical that they would attract young, White males. Thus, my remarks re the unsurprising profile of the murderer.

Hopefully that clears up your confusion, Shogie. And just between you and I, I'm pretty white myself.

If the evidence supports those charges and he is found guilty, then so be it. I have no dog in the fight but I do believe in giving everyone a fair hearing.
