Is there a way to do this? If I click on nudevista or pornhub is there a way to stop the pop-ups when you have a fresh browser session?

Just disable scripts on the page in question
As an added bonus you get no ads
Thanks. Here's a site for Firefox that tells you how to "just" do that. Once again, evidence that 'there ain't no easy just's in this world'.

A bonus to using AdBlocker is the ability to block objectionable sig-pics on TERB, but more and more sites are tut-tutting about how you're gonna put them out of business if you block their ads and insisting you whitelist them before they'll show you their content. Awkward, but seems fair enough.

We can put a man on the moon and a rover on Mars but I have to close 13 windows just to have a little tug?

Its alot easier on Chrome apparently

Well the other way which works quite well and is more ease of use
Edit your hosts file
Lucky for us 99% of ads are all from same places running same pop ups so once you block it on one site all future sites are blocked
And no need for whitelisting adblockers since website has no clue you have done it

If I read your linked site correctly, you won't have clue there even is a site to whitelist. Kinda awkward if you wanted to get to it, just not to have the stupid pop-ups that come with it. And like all tracking-based convenience features, Chrome's umbilical to its Mothership is too creepy for me. But for MacSnobs, if you ask nicely, that same Mothership will point you to 'edit hosts file mac os [best include a version number here]'
