Just saw this on the OLG website. Dont think I like it at all. How I read it is its a blank ticket you take it up to cash, and once its activated then OLG generates a random set of numbers for you. You dont get to see your numbers, and then after the draw you scan your ticket and see if its a winner or not. But you never actually see your set of numbers. Dont know if I trust this at all.

I think it is being done so that each cashier at the grocery store can sell 6/49 and lotto max tickets without having to have a lotto terminal.

I'm just wondering how sales will go. How many people purchase quick pick vs using their favourite numbers and will people be comfortable having purchased a ticket that they can't see the numbers.

I read somewhere 6/49 and lotto max sales are down. This grocery store idea maybe a means to generate sales.

Its actually a different system. It allows them to expand into grocery stores without needing to put infrastructure in place for a terminal.
