Russia is getting brazen.

They are now demanding that Western Tech companies operating within Russia hand over their source codes. This is being done in the name of state security. Nobody cares that Russia is the most corrupt country in the world and they need the codes to hack Western democracies more efficiently. It's time for the POTUS to stand up and defend them - fat fucking chance of that!

Trump adores Putin, he can wait to meet him next month. Of course Putin will demand payback for bringing down Hillary Clinton, sanctions have to be lifted.

Your propaganda is out of step with the news, you will require new talking points.

Propaganda?

OTB, you're being hypocritical. Trump has said many times that the NYT publishes fake news, why would you believe them? In the interest of fairness.

I'm a centrist...hated by everyone.

So Western technology companies selling out all their other customers, so as to sell product in Russia.

Now of course if Russia is such a backward dump as is frequently posted here, how are these companies managing have such a large potential market in Russia.

Further the irony of tech firms saying we can't possibly help the FBI, Scotland Yard, CSIS etc. . . but heck we'll turn over the keys to the kingdom to FSB, and we know they won't turn what they find over to the SVR or the GRU.

I agree Aardie!

Quoting Graham Chapman, the Western Tech companies are showing their hypocrisy of the shoddiest kind. They'll hide behind civil right in democratic nations yet fold like cheap pup tents in the face of autocracy. The notable exception is Symantec, they're not about to share their hostile code data bank with the Russians. They're more than happy to shut down their Russian concerns.

The tech firms are not the only ones having problems. FIFA is about to get a financial wedgie from their sponsors. They are not lining up for the Russia World Cup, the ordeal could be even worse for Qatar. The Brazil World Cup was fully booked by sponsors a full year before the event took place. It looks good on the greedy sons of bitches!
