Celebrating segregation,...???There's a huge difference between segregation and celebration.
Celebrating segregation,...???There's a huge difference between segregation and celebration.
Celebrating overcoming segregation, actually.Celebrating segregation,...???
Neither, it means you're an idiot. So does that mean you agree,...or disagree with my post,...
A celebrate the end of segregation with a new beginning of segregation celebration. lolCelebrating segregation,...???
As I thought,...no opinion,...no adult comment,...just more childish insulting.Neither, it means you're an idiot.
With segregation,...Celebrating overcoming segregation, actually.
And you have yet to show that anyone is excluded.Oil&gas, People who cannot swim are not a "class" after all you can learn to swim. A "graduation" either mock or actual which excludes people due to their race or gender is an entirely different matter.
You seem to be under the illusion that whites were the victims. Give your head a shake! With segregation,...
It has alot to do with why don't they want to commemorate fellow students of other races. They are acting like they are the first few blacks to graduate after the civil rights movement. Every student had the same rights and responsibilities to graduate, this type of segregated ceremony says otherwise which isnt true and kind of insulting to the school, the city and our nation. We dont try and make it harder for black students to get a good education and graduate, so why must they celebrate in that fashion?I think you guys are thinking more into this than what the students intended. It is a celebration for the black students that are graduating because not all of them do. If they want to celebrate who are we to tell them no?
More ridiculous posting from you fuji. You seem to be under the illusion that whites were the victims. Give your head a shake!
Great, so then you understand that blacks celebrating their achievement has nothing to do with segregation, which was whites excluding blacks.More ridiculous posting from you fuji.
I'm not under any illusiuon,...you are definatly delusional.
NOBODY here has indicated whites are victims,...utterly ridiculous fuji,...but not unexpected.
Then what exactly is the reason their achievement differs from the rest of the students that it needs a special ceremony? Try to stay in the year 2017 with your reason.Great, so then you understand that blacks celebrating their achievement has nothing to do with segregation, which was whites excluding blacks.
That's where you're absolutely wrong fuji. Blacks celebrating their overcoming of segregation, in isolation, has everything to do with segregation. If anything, it proves a failing of society, not cause for celebration.Great, so then you understand that blacks celebrating their achievement has nothing to do with segregation, which was whites excluding blacks.
Nothing is wrong with that, as long as no one protests the all white graduations that may be organized.Oh smoke a joint and relax. It's not a graduation ceremony but a post-graduation celebration. If they want to pat each other on the back, what's wrong with that?
We all know you hate Caucasians fuji,...but you must learn to stop living in the past.Great, so then you understand that blacks celebrating their achievement has nothing to do with segregation, which was whites excluding blacks.
What would be the reason for an all white graduation?Nothing is wrong with that, as long as no one protests the all white graduations that may be organized.
To which I have absolutely no problem, if it is not portrayed as a faux graduation ceremony but rather a reception or party, and those involved dress as is typical of graduation receptions at UT.I think you guys are thinking more into this than what the students intended. It is a celebration for the black students that are graduating because not all of them do. If they want to celebrate who are we to tell them no?
Why should that matter? What would be the reason for an all white graduation?
