Defeating ISIS? Stable middle east?

But since you think there is no US interest there you must have no objection to the US taking its fair share of refugees from the war there.
Defeat Isis? Sure

Stable Middle East? Really. OMG that's funny. Hasn't been stable for oh about a couple of Millennia now.

Perhaps a momentary breakout of peace while they reload is possible I suppose.

It was pretty stable under the Ottoman empire.

The current instability was intentional in the way the borders were drawn. The Brits and French intentionally drew borders that split ethnic groups between countries after WW1Bin the belief that this would keep the natives disunified and make them easier for the great empires to control. Then the great empires vanished in WW2 and now it's chaos.

There really should only be five or six countries, maybe N. Syria/Iraq, Egypt, Israel, Jordan/Palestine/Lebanon/S. Syria, Israel, Saudi Arabia, and Iran. The rest of them should be broken up and added to those countries.

I don't see any national interest in taking refugees either, but as soon as Europe takes refugees from Latin America I'd certainly consider it.

Venezuela would be a good place to start.
