New Orleans, Mardi Gras '92.
Such a great party... boobs galore
Was pretty much bombed for 6 days, met an awesome / beautiful girl from Seattle that I spent the majority of my "nighty night" time with.
And the food.....

Been there a few times. Not for Mardi Gras though. Too damn busy and expensive then.New Orleans, Mardi Gras '92.

But the party is every night really.
For those going look up the Royal Oyster House. You won't regret it.
I always have eye open for things to do on road then create time to do them if possible.
I planned outward bound course in Rockies for 10 days.
Cliff scaled, canoed etc.
So we are hiking through mountains then decide to swim on Glacier lake. Females took it upon themselves to skinny dip.
Anyways, I had brought some music and player. Later that night under full moon I taught everyone how to waltz while playing Sofa by Zappa.
I planned outward bound course in Rockies for 10 days.

If I went to Hawaii, I wouldn't remember most of it - but I'd have the spam sushi.
Three nights in Vienna, I went there to get the Vienna Philharmonic off my bucket list. What I found pleasantly shocked me. It's very much a bohemian city, gorgeous women and music everywhere, the best street food and the greenest of cities. Vienna also has the most extensive art and science museums outside Paris and New York. Vienna is different from other Germanic cities, the wine is cheaper than the beer, both are excellent. And most surprising of all juice/coffee bars for that little something extra. They resembled Milano coffee houses rather than the seedy Amsterdam type.
I didn't stay in an expensive hotel while there. I stayed in a suburban pensione, public transportation is excellent there, getting into the city was a 15 minute tram ride. I stayed at a musicians hangout, a wind band was practicing near my room, I got woken up each morning to this:

If you go to Las Vegas, go just before the Christmas holidays, hotels are cheap because they are at 40% capacity. The crowds are not there at that time. You can have your pick of attractions and shows. Specials galore. The week or two before Christmas is good, I hear it is even less crowded in the week between Christmas and New Years.
Cuba........A week of nothing but chilling, rum and GREAT Cigars. I'm going to starting trying to go once a year now, fuck it.
The cheap Cuban vacation was iin danger of being extinct...................until Trump put a stop to that this week.
Agreed,I had been at many places on vacations,but the best two weeks I had was at Cuba.The sea,food,girls,rum,cigars,the weather,it was great.I will repeat soon.

Yep, and prices were quite reasonable until recent, but that's gonna change now I'm sure
Go in late September early October. Occupancy is still down. Weather is in the 25 degree range everyday. Just check the Las Vegas website for any big conventions and skip that weekend.
I go every year at that time. Cheap show tickets. Always get a seat at the BlackJack tables. NFL betting, Hockey betting, Baseball betting all in full swing. And the pools are still open as well.
It's the best time to go for a real good experience.
My very best trip ever....the companion made it Very Special, especially the "stops" along the way XX
