Hello everyone,

I don't kiss and tell, and will not ruin an angency's reputation. But, here we go. I saw an SP couple of weeks ago and generally have a good time. So I thought. For the most part I've met chill and friendly women in the industry but I never stress myself out if they really enjoy their time with me or not.. I just treat them nice and if they genuinely like me it's cool if not it's also ok..

Having respect for SPs includes having respect for their CHOICE to work in the industry, regardless of how they feel about their job. If you don't have that, you're no better than the special interest groups who say all SPs are exploited.
She said so herself that she made the conscious decision to work in the industry. She's a grown woman, she can decide that for herself.

Most people have some gripes about their jobs, and plenty even loathe it. So I ask you, are you hurting the cleaning lady? Are you hurting the garbage man? Are you hurting your server?

I can't imagine why she'd say what she did. It seems to be a comment meant to wound, but she also may have said it out of self-pity. But regardless of her own opinion, it doesn't apply to all ladies in the industry.
If you behave like a gentlemen, you shouldn't feel bad for participating. I simply wouldn't see that particular SP again.

That is not true. Many girls like doing it because they make good money and they get to meet different guys and have a good time with them. I used to feel same way as you every time I would bring my bikes to my bike mechanic. Every time I would show up he always looked very miserable. After when he told me that I should just ride more and stop being so particular about my bikes and switched to a different guy and now when I come in the whole shop greets me like I am a rock star or a big pro rider. You should deal with those who like what they are doing and thank God there are plenty of those people out there.

Charlotte's explanation is perfect. Have I loved every minute I spent with every client over the years? No, I'm not Jesus. Do I often look forward to the time I spend with many? Absolutely. That's not to say that A) the money is irrelevant or B) I would see them for free. SWs enter this industry for a number of reasons, money being a big factor. But that's not to say that all SWs curse all their clients under their breath. To the OP, it sounds like you met a fairly miserable lady but be careful not to paint us all with her bitter Betty brush. And furthermore, what lady in her right mind would even say something so ridiculous. She might have well said "you're gross and disgusting and so is every guy I see and all other SWs agree". This is not to say that there aren't some ladies who DO hold an overall negative opinion of all of their clients and I squirm to hear them group all their clients into the same category, similar to what's been done here.

For myself, I see this the following way. In the real life, you need to have the same mutual choice to be with someone - you like that girl and she likes you. In reality, the woman I like maybe wouldn't even look in my direction. So, I pay to make this choice possible, to have the opportunity to meet her. After this, it is up to me to make her like me, she is the woman in the end. Of course, it doesn't happen always, there is no guaranty of "click" between two people, but sometimes very good connection can be established. And over years I have met several really amazing women through this "hobby".
