Usually I go there Saturdays (I haven't been there a while though) and there is no problem with parking nearby on Bay or Albert. On a weekdays there are 2 hour parking nearby on Queen right in front of Barbs and Spark street as well. That said in the evenings it would be hard to find free parking. There are however paid parking lots one right next to Barbs (I think it is $15) and the other (less expensive, I think about $8) at Bay street and Queen which is 2 minutes from Barbs.
For visiting Barefax too I have to pay for parking $8 to $10 and still walk about 10 minutes (a parking lot near King Edward as the nearby ones on the other side of York street are double in price). The only ones with free parking are Pigale and Playmates (I don't see NuDen as an option for its hilltop stage and its very open CRs and what I have heard about its manager from two different dancers who used to dance there). I am willing to sacrifice $10 (the price of half song in the CR) for better quality SC and dancers.
