Very quiet almost boring tonight at Barefax right till 11 pm when I left. It was getting better then as fresh dancers showed up.

Also in Barefax it feels like a border crossing where every time you enter you are subjected to security body inspection just like boarding the airplane in the airport!!!!. They are taking it too damn far. Instead hire another bartender or waitress so that patrons don't have to wait 15 to 30 minutes to be served. There were 4 managers/security in the bar of less than a dozen customers last might at 8:00 or 9:00 pm and only one bartender and one waitress!!!!. It would be a long time before I return to this bar.
This afternoon, I met the lovely Kylie, originally from Taboo. She says she likes it better at Barefax.
She's a lovely young and short Latina. Beautiful, smart, kind and kinky, I swear that girl has it all! Oh, and she's always laughing, which made me melt a little inside every time she did.
Alex, Minx, Sally, Stacy, Tiffany, Trina, Trish and a few others were also there.
I saw the new numbers they put up on the champagne room walls. Apparently, in the evening, they have someone at the top of the stairs taking note of the time spent in each booth, to avoid overcharging by some of the strippers. That's all I know, though. Kilt boy might be able to give more details.

I think they do this at Pigales too in the evenings (A few evenings I was there I saw a guy sitting at a table downstarirs outside the CRs but last time I was there in the evening was a few months ago). He timed dancers so that they don't overcharge.
I am not sure that this is the purpose for someone to be at the top of the stairs (likely because the Barefax management wanting patrons to find out about the new imposed fee AFTER he has agreed to private dance and he is upstairs already!!!!!).............. Montreal Champagne Room fee coming to Ottawa - Thanks to Barefax
This is still hearsay though if true in my opinion this is a financial assault on Ottawa dancers and patrons and must not be rewarded. I frequently travell to Montreal. In Montreal some bars have imposed a Champagne room fee. Every SINGLE time that you take a dancer for a private dance in the evening hours (maybe daytime too I am not sure) you have to pay $5 to the bar though in Montreal most private dances are $10 and $15. I personally view it as extortion fee by bar management that patrons pay in order to be allowed to have dances with their favorite dancer. Dancers are hurt as a result because many patrons either refuse the dance when asked or refuse to pay the fee (which btw they find out only after they accept private dance) and dancer have to pay it. I myself turned down a number of requests for this very reason (even though it was $10 and $15 dance in Montreal). I didn't wish to pay this to the bar, period. I wouldn't have mind if this fee was going to dancers. The quality of dancers is hence much lower in Montreal simply because dancers don't make money so they choose other professions.
Tonight at Barbs, I was surprised to see a regular Barefax dancer at Barbarellas tonight. When I asked she told me that Barefax has introduced this $5 Champagne room fee for EVERY time a patron goes upstairs following the Montreal trend. I am sure other bars will follow if we patrons let Barefax to suceed in forcing this fee.
It comes at a surprising time when strip bars are competing for the few remaining patrons and are mostly quiet. Last time I was there at Barefax this bar was empty (4 managers but almost equal number of customers at 10 pm on Saturday night) Maybe they wish to take advantage of Christmas time when usually more people go to bars and make it permanent. Or they feel they can do it because they are in downtown area. Like making huge profit out of selling expensive drinks to patrons and exploiting dancers by taking their hard earned dollars from hard working dancers as bar fee or DJ fee is not enough for them to make them rich enough now they wish to impose a Champagne room fees on the top of everything else to make EVEN MORE PROFIT!!!!!. Remember it is not $5. It is every time for extra $5 and as I said many would refuse taking dances or pay this fee and dancers have to pay either way. This will result in hitting dancers in their pockets even more while the bar owners getting even richer than they are. This also brings down quality of dancers as many would quit (if all bars adopt this policy) simply because they won't make money as a dancer.

Stopped by the 'Fax Friday (11/24) afternoon and found things fairly busy.
Had heard that Vegas had decamped (temporarily?) to the 'Fax from her typical haunt at the 'Mate but did not see her in the 'Fax on this occasion.
Notable ladies (at least to my mind) included the very pretty blonde Minx, the eye-catching ebonies Trina and Jayda, as well as the very pretty and well-built Tasha.
Trina seemed to spend a good deal of time 'upstairs' and I attempted to do my bit by waiting for Tasha to be available for an ascension up the 'stairway to heaven'. Tasha just has a very alluring look - gorgeous and sexy with great legs and a lovely derriere.

Thanks for the report on Barefax r__d. I haven't been to Fax in a long a while myself and was wondering how things are recently. If I am not mistaken I think I saw Vegas at PM this afternoon. Would you happen to know if the $5 Champagne room fee is a fact or fiction?.
I haven't been to Barefax in the evenings since the $5 fee deal has been implemented, but in any event I'm told that it would apply after 7:00 - at least that's the impression I have.
Thanks for the note re Vegas - was going to look for her at the PM today, but with recent reported sightings at BareFax, opted for a visit to York Street. Lately, Vegas has been sporting a sort of half-blonde/half-dark 'dip-dyed' look, so if you saw a dancer with this kind of hair colour, it was almost certainly her.
Seems to be typical of my luck, if I'm looking for her at PM, she's at the 'Fax and if I drop into York St. she's back at the 'Mate. Oh well.
I've only been to barefax one time . I'm trying to remember a dancers name . Is Minx the dancer with short dirty blonde hair , pretty face and a bunch of tattoos on one of her arms ?
Minx does have pretty face and a couple of tattoos (on her leg) but she has long blonde hair not short. You may be talking about Stacey (reviewed earlier), but she has been at Barefax only a few months.

I was there too. We may have been there at the same time. Saw Kilt Boy too, seems to be popular with the ladies, in fact, Trina seems to have a soft spot for him. As I was about to leave, Tamika showed up. I waited for her to be done her dance routine but she was quickly scooped up by one of several admiring patrons, right as she was stepping off the stage!! Too hard to compete as she has so many fans. Still had a good time watching the lovely dancers but I did not indulge.
Not sure if Kilt Boy was monopolizing the lovely Trina but his posts describing his activities on Friday afternoon would tend to indicate that this was not the case.
I observed Trina ascend and descend from the upstairs CR area twice but it seemed that after each descent she disappeared into the dressing room quite promptly and, try as I might from my vantage point, I did not see her emerge after her first CR sojurn and the next time I saw her she was on the way up again. I guess that, like Tamika, Trina has many admiring fans - in any case I did not see her in an 'approachable' situation during the roughly 2 hrs. or so that I was there.
Tasha was very nice to speak to and very easy-going as I approached her at the bar after we had briefly chatted prior to her stage appearance and her first trip upstairs. Sadly, Tasha tells me she's mostly an evening dancer and Fridays are the only afternoons that she comes in - think she said around 4:00 but it must have been a good deal earlier last Friday as I was coming out of the CR with her at about 3:45.
Yes, I was there on Friday doing my Jolly Old Elf impersonation. I had a few gifts to distribute and did that as soon as I was able.
Trina does seem to spend a lot of time with me, even when I'm not spending. I try to push her back onto the floor to chase the dollars, but sometimes she'd rather just spend time with me. That may all have changed, though. There was a dramatic situation with another dancer that I was spending time with on that day and when I didn't take Trina's side, I got a very cold response. With someone as volatile as she, I know what that means. Still, if someone is being a jerk I'll tell them. If they can't get over it, I don't really want to spend more time on an unforgiving and deliberately hateful person. This may free her up for everyone else. If so, you're welcome.

Trina couldn't get at me and got upset and started being agressive. There was drama. When I took Paris upstairs, the DJ told us to use a booth on the other side so we wouldn't run into Trina, avoiding a fight. It took 10 minutes (no charge) to calm Paris down before I could get her to start dancing.

Candy is usually an evening dancer and pretty new to the business. Slim, medium-dark, pretty, noce butt. More mechanical than sensual. 2 songs were enough for me. She's a table-hopper, not an engager. That doesn't fly at BF in the afternoon.
Paris is back in town! She texted me to say she was back yesterday and will be dancing as much as she can until the end of the week. If you've never spent time with this lovely, petite woman, you are missing out. She is fantastic on the floor and cranks me up to 11 every time in the CR.
