It's sad that Tiger is chasing boozes instead of chasing Jack Nicklaus career major championships. It could be a different Jack...Jack Daniels...he is chasing!
He probably has $300+MM in the bank (post-divorce), his own jet and a yacht. I'm not advocating drinking and driving, but life could be much, much worse.

I can understand he may need the booze to lessen the agony he must have with his back pain but that still does not condone going out and driving drunk.
Since golf is a white supremacist sport, I was rooting for Tiger to break Jack Nicklaus's record.
But even at his peak you could see that he was not right. He felt he had to conform to a public image but was to socially inept to live up to it. He spent so much of his childhood developing his game he had no time to be a kid. When it all came his way he could not say no. He went far beyond Robbie Alomar's hedonistic lifestyle. Then he hooked up with Lindsey Vonn and she finished him off.
And now this...at least the Klansmen are happy.

I have not watched a golf tournament since Tiger Woods was the worlds number one golfer... Tiger changed the game and made it exciting! Now I have no interest in watching golf... I do play golf on occasion. That said all athletes have their personal vices and I do too... DUI is not one of them.. I personally would love to see Tiger back as the worlds dominant golfer, that will probably never happen again. If you drink don't drive... What is amazing is how much he has spent on these X wives...

When a family is taken away(through his own actions) from a man that defines himself as a family man it can be devastating. I'm sure the half a billion dollars helps but he is wayward right now. IMO the best thing that could happen to him is he marries another young hottie then knocks out another couple of kids. I've read articles that describe him as socially awkward around women. Maybe the booze helps him get over that anxiety. I would imagine becoming a golf prodigy is a pretty lonely experience growing up

As a competitive golf player, his time has come and gone. Unfortunately his legacy may be overshadowed by his failings in his personal life. The golfing world owes him enormous gratitude for changing the financial landscape of golf.

With all the back problems and surgeries he is physically not in pro form.
Since the divorce, I'd argue that mentally he was on a downward slide.
